Honestly this was my first time trying this restaurant and my honest opinion I have had way better. Macaroni is disgusting no flavor, noodles dry. Oxtails were decent but not enough seasonings to my liking. Oxtails were tender and well cooked but it will probably be my last time. Rice and beans were alright.

I went to the new location on Tussing Rd, I got the oxtails, peas and rice, and cabbage. We also got the stew chicken peas and rice with plantains and beef patty w/coco bread. For $25 I think I could’ve got more than 4 oxtails. Smh. The rice taste scorched and was overcooked. The oxtails and the rice had no flavor AT ALL! No gravy on the oxtails. The cabbage I must say was delicious. The brown stew chicken didn’t have any gravy either just dry looking. Plantains look dry like they been sitting out and not freshly made. The beef patty was decent. I was just shocked to find a place out here that sold beef patties w/ coco bread. I was not impressed. Probably wouldn’t go back there. However, the customer service was good. The guy at the counter was friendly and answered any questions I had. The place was very clean inside.

The food was hot, well seasoned, and delicious. The customer service was 10/10; they were very attentive to us and very welcoming. The jerk sauce is really good as well. I’m a Jamaican food connoisseur; I know when it’s authentic and when it’s not, and this is the real deal. Definitely check them out. We were riding through from out of town and found them located in the international food market. I definitely wanted to take real time pictures because I noticed most of the reviewers pics were not up to par; nevertheless, I did not allow that to stop me from trying some good food. Also, make sure ya try their ginger lemonade. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely stop here. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken dinner, Jerk Chicken dinner, and Mac and cheese. Good value as well.

I ordered DoorDash and it was curry subbed for jerk since they were out with Mac and cornbread. Mac was plain and no flavor, jerk was okay and the beef patties were absolutely DELICIOUS! So good I decided to go in person with my boyfriend excited to have him try it and actually try the curry chicken and as we paid we seen a roach climbing right by the beef patties that I thought were absolutely delicious and now I’m petrified had to get a refund. I can’t believe this I’m devastated

I only ordered from here because a friend brought me food from this restaurant on Monday, February 9th, and it was really good (except the cabbage being a little overcooked). Based on that experience, I decided to order food for my entire staff. I am honestly in disbelief. The food arrived cold, the mac and cheese was horrible, and instead of potato salad, I was given pasta salad. I don’t understand how potato salad gets mixed up with pasta salad! I spent $145.56 total — $121.39 on the restaurant’s website and $24.17 through DoorDash — just to be completely disappointed. This was a large order meant for my staff, and the quality and accuracy were nowhere near what I expected based on my first experience. Very disappointed

I’ve order from Mi Yaad on UE a few times before and I really enjoy their sides and Mild Beef Patties. I actually found them because my normal spot routinely runs out of patties, and my cravings led me to continue searching. My food arrives hot, securely packaged and full of flavor! The Mac and Cheese is more of a casserole style, while the cheese pull I usually look for isn’t really there, it doesn’t take away from the taste. Their potato salad is some of the best I’ve had – well seasoned. And the Patties are buttery and flaky and just outright delicious!
