Me an my family go in for lunch roun̈d 11:10 am an there is no one there but one couple, we place our order get the food not even done right, my son takes the food back to get it remade an what they did discussed me an that’s not what u do when u run a restaurant business, I don’t dig through my food an put on 2 different plates an bring it back that’s just plain NASTY & DISCUSSTING. THEN WHEN I SEND FOR THE owner I get told OH I DONTBHAVE TIME IM BUSY BUT YET your there standing an talking to my child. That’s just bad service an business. I didn’t pay for nothing but the one soda we had an walked out it took them 40 mins to just made an order of chicken nachos… also they wasn’t busy even when I walked out had made 4 tables with people already eating an thenplace was full of smoke.. SMH

It had been a while since I had gone to MI Toro. I got 2 beef tacos, and hubby got shrimp fajitas. The shrimp was clean and fresh, looked amazing, and tasted great. Tacos were just as good Great food and fast service. Clean atmosphere, friendly workers will go again. It was the MI Toro on hwy 72

I normally don’t write reviews for any place but I think this definitely needs to be mentioned… Went here tonight, ordered a burger, came out with mold all over the bottom of the bun so I sent it back to the kitchen, received a new one but it was very obvious they gave me the same French fries from my original plate as they were a bit cold, and my burger had ranch all over the bottom bun as I had ranch on the original plate which means they cross-contaminated my food… I expected it to be fine and ate half of it after inspecting it and not finding much at that moment. Went home with my leftovers as I didn’t eat the entire burger and became violently sick and decided to check my left overs. Found mold in the bun of my burger AGAIN. The waiter we had was also very unkind to me and my fiancé and gave us lots of attitude. Definitely will not be coming here ever again.

Good was ok, nothing special. Service was not so good, waitress rarely checked in on us, had to flag her down to get refills. Seemed like staff was more concerned with interacting with each other than with customers.

Dude, I don’t know what happened. I’ve been here 1000+ times, and this was the first time it was just terrible. Awful.
The red salsa tasted like water, the cheese dip was cold runny and clumpy. My tomatilla salsa was also very watery, and the chips were thin and brittle.
The chips and dips are admittedly my favorite part of a Tex-Mex meal, and all of it was just sad this time. What happened?
My entree of nachos was cooked okay but was ruined by clumpy cheese and thin chips. Way too much bell pepper too.
Again, this particular Mi Toro is literally my favorite restaurant in town. It’s an institution! I ate here as an infant! But this time they really messed my meal up and the waitress disappeared. I had the same waitress there one month ago and the food was wonderful, but dang… not this time.
I paid without tipping and left, which hurt me to do because I love this place. I guess try one of the other 3 Mexican places in town 🙁
New chef?? I’m not sure, but I’m scared to go back.

The food here tasted really good. I had the big boy burrito, and it does live up to the name it was the size of a small child and totally worth it. The steak that they use for their tacos and stuff is really good very well seasoned. The staff was also super friendly and polite.

My hubby and I decided to stop in and eat at the original location. We haven’t been there in a while. Hubby ordered a burrito verda, and I ordered a chicken taco salad. All was fresh and delicious . Service and atmosphere was very top notch! Thank you! I’m glad we stopped in.
