We tried this place for dinner on 12/5/25 after being turned around at La Nueva Tequilas and let me tell you- it was the best thing to ever happen!! Food/drinks and service was amazing!!!! Very clean restaurant even though it was busy and the atmosphere was wonderful. The host greeted us very politely. Our server was very tentative and was on top of every need before we even had a chance to ask. I wish I could remember his name. We got 2 margaritas each, queso, tex mex wrap, and Alex burrito. Everything was delicious and had beautiful presentation. Even the chips and salsa were good and fresh. I will say the prices are a bit high and we probably won’t be able to frequent as much as we’d like to, but sometimes you just have to pay for what you get. They turned our night around after the bad experience we had at the other Mexican restaurant. We will definitely be back with family/friends!

To keep it short, everything was great. We were greeted the moment we came in and immediately sat to the table. Complementary chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. We ordered our drinks and they came fast, next when we ordered our food it came really fast, steaming, hot, and perfect perfection. Most importantly our waitress was wonderful. Thank you for a good evening. We had a great anniversary.

Decided to try this new place. The waitress was nice. The food was not as expected from reading the menu. The pineapple fajita had 2 strips of chicken, 2 strips of steak and 2 shrimp. The pineapple salsa did not exist. It was supposed to be with mixed vegetables, assuming bellpepper and onions since that is what was on the picture, but there were only a poor amt of onions. The steak tacos had no flavor. Also the prices on the menu and what was put on the ticket was completely different. (They did give us the difference when I brought it up). Now let’s get to the best part the margaritas: so tasty, flavorful. Definitely would do drinks there. Overall staff were personable. There was a disconnect between waitress and staff, bc we asked for no Avocado and the kitchen manage to still put it on the tacos.

Surprisingly good Hispanic restaurant within walking distance from many hotels. Staff is very friendly. Large portion sizes at reasonable prices. Food was good enough came back twice in the same week.

Mi Tio Mexican Grill is a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and the smell of fresh, authentic Mexican cooking. The food is absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and always fresh. Wow. And the chips They’re warm, crispy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt and spice — honestly some of the best I’ve had!
The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, making it a great spot for casual dinners or celebrating something special. I also have to shout out their margaritas — they’re strong, refreshing, and come in a variety of fun flavors.
If you’re looking for real Mexican food made with love, Mi Tio won’t disappoint. Highly recommend!

Best taco salad Iv had, hubby got chicken quesadilla which was delicious too he said. Margarita very good. Service good.
Asked to turn music down couldn’t hear waitress and couldn’t have much of a conversation. She said she put in request to turn music down but still the same volume the whole hour we were there. That’s my only complaint. Will be back hoping the music doesn’t sound like we’re in a dance club.
Thx

Pricy for sure. Dinner and a one drink $52.
Food is good. Salsa and chips not good, too liquidy for me. Atmosphere ok.
English is clearly not their language of choice.

Tasted the difference, its not that different. Went here right after opening. Things were good and and I was pleased with the remodel, for this is the third iteration of a restaurant here. All good on visit one.
Back a second time in Sep. Noticed the food quality not quite like the first, but still ok.
Back tonight( Oct). Food quality same as any other mediocre Mexican restaurant.
Specifics:
Chips now now same as any other. Can’t pinpoint what changed but was better before.
Salsa has texture/taste of tomato sauce. Used bottled heat to doctor, but still wasn’t good.
Ordered Chicken Fajitas (Mon night special). Consists of grilled chicken, grilled onions, grilled bell peppers. OK, but that’s it. Would be easy to be better (different) by adding a little color. And where’s the lime?
Flour tortillas were gummy. Inedible.
To manager or owner – where’d you go? One would think there would be some presence for a relatively new opening considering the investment made here. Seems no one of authority is here paying attention to details, which is sad since there’s a large staff working with nothing to do.
Some good points:
Staff attentive and friendly.
Beer cold.
Charro Beans are a good side. Maybe only thing following Grandma’s recipe?
I do want to see the parking lot full here. I’m really hoping my review won’t become status quo.

Everything looked good, and when we couldn’t decide, our waiter gave us recommendations that were spot on. He was very kind, very patient, and very thoughtful. We didn’t feel rushed at any point. The fajitas and drinks were fresh, flavorful, perfectly made. Absolutely worth the price, and we will return!
