I ordered a hippo and 2 fajita rice bean and cheese tacos I got home and the fajita tacos only had fajita and beans and barely had any meat in it at all I’ve been here multiple times because it is convenient and close to home but I have been disappointed on several occasions and keep trying to give them another chance but I definitely will not be coming back! Food is already expensive enough as it is then to have to be continuously disappointed, it not worth it!

Do not pay attention to any of the negative reviews….this place is AMAZING we had the Loroco pupusas and the pork with bean and cheese……the Loroco are my favorite!!!!!! But it was all amazing…… You have got to go try this place!!!!!! The food is made to order it’s fresh and had not been sitting there…. We didn’t wait that long for it to be cooked…

Small clean Salvadoran/ Mexican/ Tex-Mex taqueria/ cafe type.
Our first time here but definitely not our last.
Simplicity at its best.
I ordered a platano breakfast; 9.99.
My son ordered a pancake breakfast (not on menu but ask); 5.99.
Cooked hot & fresh & plated beautifully.
The star of this show were the platanos w Salvadoran crema & they sure did serve me plenty.
I see on their menu they also serve plenty of tex-mex flare including breakfast & lunch tacos; Hippo; 4.99
I will definitely be back to try the Salvadoran pupusas (similiar to a mexican gordita but meat and cheese encompass the cornmeal type masa); traditionally served with cortido (vinegar based cabbage slaw) and a non spicy red sauce.
Enjoy.

Update: Today the food was a huge disappointment. The pupusas were lacking filling & very dry/gritty. The tacos were bland & the meat was hard & dried out. I paid nearly $100 just to toss out the food. In addition the Styrofoam containers were melted on to the food. I will no longer spend my money here. Too bad they couldn’t keep up the quality I originally enjoined.
Dang good food!!!

I have been past this little place what seems like a million times. My son wanted some tacos so here we go. They have a fairly big menu and something for everyone. We ordered 2 guisada tacos with queso, 1 beef fajita with cheese, onion, and cilantro. 1 chicken fajita with cheese, onion, and cilantro. They were really awesome and bigger
Everything was downright delicious. The tortillas are homemade and super soft. I could of literally eaten a dozen by themselves.
They have 2 sauces, green and red. They are both really good, the red has no heat at all but plenty of taste. The green has just enough heat to be be enjoyed by anyone.
It is a gotta stop in or thru and give them a try kinda place.
You won’t regret it and you will be supporting a local family owned business.

This is my second time ordering from Mi Tierra. I am obsessed with their Salvadorian Pupusas and fried ripe plantains. Very reminiscent of the Caribbean food I grew up with!

Taking our business somewhere else. Tired of our orders being messed up and for this business not having any efforts in trying to learn the English language. Service here has gone down hill as well as the food.

I have had better. If they weren’t so big, they’d probably be less dry, and take less time to cook. Since I waited a good 20 minutes for 2 pupusas

Really hate to give 1 star rating to any business but was so disappointed spending over $16 on 3 chorizo and egg breakfast tacos. I asked for cilantro and onion which I did not get. They were decent size but tasteless even with red sauce. The tortilla so thin it fell apart while eating and not a sign of any chorizo.

Waking into this place I had high expectations. Very very disappointed. Me and my husband went on a Saturday the main purpose we came here was for Menudo and Barbacoa, they didn’t have any even tho the menu says they did. The Tortillas were not homemade. My coffee was horrible and and who don’t carry creamer. I’m giving this place one star for there pupusas those were the only thing on point. So if you want JUST a Pupusa this the place to go, even tho those were pretty thin also, but still good.
Oh plus they got my one taco I ordered wrong. =/
