Mi Tierra Taqueria is a casual, clean Mexican food eatery specializing in staple fare like tacos, asada plates, menudo, and burritos. They also offer breakfast, but we ended up opting for lunch during our visit.
We ordered the Crunchy Taco Plate with rice and beans, and it truly hit the spot. Served with a choice of their 3 homemade salsas. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared—a perfect, satisfying lunch. Paired with their freshly brewed iced tea, it was the ideal midday meal.
The service was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was clean and welcoming.
Good to know: We dined inside, but for those on the go, they also have a convenient drive-thru for to-go orders.
Friendly service and great food will definitely bring us back! Highly recommend for a casual, authentic Mexican meal.

I used to love this place. The past couple of times I’ve had issues though.. today I drove home (5 min MAYBE) and noticed my food was leaking straight grease through the foil, through the brown bag, into my seat, on my clothes, EVERYWHERE. the food was inedible.
The previous time they double charged me and me or my credit card company could not get them to resolve it.

After a long day of work, we decided to stop in a get a bite to eat. We were greeted immediately by a friendly staff. We ordered the Mexican plate and theTexas plate. It was so good and the chips and salsa were delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and refilled our glasses promptly! We were not disappointed!

My Dad and I have been wanting to go here for a bit and finally had lunch here together. I haven’t found a place like the hole-in-the-walls that were in Midland. This place filled that need. Dad and I enjoyed the food and the waitress (who spoke un poquito ingles and we speak un poquito espanola which was GREAT). Our waitress was very polite. I ventured off the path and got the Doritos Nachos (after craving authentic food LOL) and LOVED it. Description: Doritos topped with asada or pastor, pico de gallo, guacamole & queso. If you like that late night food after a night out, go order some of this to-go early and get everything on the side, then get some Doritos, heat it up and thank me later. My Dad got the Quesabirrias and we both loved it. There are about 10 things I want to go back and try…we really enjoyed it! Gracias!!

Barbacoa street tacos were moist and flavorful. They also serve homemade tortillas. Our servers were professional and food came out in a timely manner.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Lubbock, this is the fourth time I’ve ordered here, I’ve had the fajitas, the tacos, the breakfast burrito and chicken salad and all of it was great and delicious every time, Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor and the food comes out so fast. Highly recommend and will be back.

We hadn’t tried their menudo here yet, and we were not disappointed. I’m not a huge fan of menudo, and the first bite made me wanting more. The burrito was a standard breakfast burrito but it was very good and filling. The red salsa was the best pairing with the burrito. Service was excellent.
