It was our first time dining here, stopped in for lunch. The place is clean and decorated really nice. They have many lunch specials to choose from. On Mondays they have house margaritas cheap. The food was delicious and the staff was great!!

Stumbled on this place after playing in the snow all morning. Great food and serving sizes were amazing. My taco bowl salad was mostly meat which I found surprising. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. We were able to experience a beautiful snowfall from our booth by the window. Only thing I recommend is putting down maybe a corn husky between the hard taco and enchilada sauce. By the time we got out dishes the taco was mushy and falling apart for the bottom.

Today was a beautiful day. Decided to come and try their Ceviche.[Personal note – I don’t like shrimp lol but this is only way I’ll eat it :)]
My last visit I asked for some Jamaica.. don’t know if it is on the menu but I had to ask for it and was excited to hear they had it. All honors to my great friend, Reynaldo Tapia, who got me turned on to it, so now it is my go-to drink(when he makes it) and now definitely here at Mi Tierra. So good.
Wife and I came for lunch, she ordered the Express Burrito(green chili) and a Pepsi.. for myself… it was the Ceviche and Cheese Crisp, added green chilis and grilled chicken and the Jamaica.
Service was great, as always. Love the atmosphere. Seating.. always get a booth. Love all the employees. Good energy from all. Smiles and laughter.
This is our most favorite Mexican restaurant in the Prescott area. Much gratitude to you all at Mi Tierra providing such a great place in Prescott. We will be back again soon.

Nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes.
I had the camarones asado, it lacked a bit of mexican flavor, but still good.

OMG.. im from Amarillo Texas and I Love me some Authentic Mexican food.. we ordered the Molcajete and added the shrimp!! WOW!! THAT THING WAS HUGE AND SOOOO GOOD.. but you need 3 people to eat it… Im also very picky about rice beans and salsa, and WOW.. they were sooo good, like my Mamas!! Definitely a MUST GO AND EAT THERE!!!

Mi Tierra is beautiful at the entrance, and that is where the illusion ends.

Our server tried, but she was buried under an impossible workload. Lukewarm food on blistering plates. Soupy beans. Rice devoid of identity. My beer arrived as an afterthought.

Then the experience turned outright nefarious.

We presented a simple coupon. It did not mention printing. Not even in fine print. If it had, we would not have bothered. Instead, we were abandoned for thirty-five excruciating minutes while our server avoided us and the manager held court at the bar, taking shots, yelling, and behaving like the dining room was an inconvenience to his party.

Thirty-five minutes stolen for a rule no one cared to communicate.

When I finally approached the to-go cashier, she informed me of the supposed printing requirement after speaking to the partying manager. Again, nowhere stated on the coupon.

By this time I felt trapped. I paid. I tipped, only to find that my server neglected to add the beer to the check so there was a separate bill? I left more frustrated than I have felt after any restaurant visit in years.

Communication is free.

Mi Tierra is a gorgeous shell with precipitously bad leadership. A place that promises warmth and delivers disappointment.

I have stayed at the Best Western Prescottonian many times over the years and was interested to see this restaurant take over the long-vacant space. On this occasion, I was with a group of ten – 7 teens and 3 adults. We decided to give Mi Tierra Mexicana a try.

First, we were warmly greeted at 7:20pm, and the staff gladly prepared for us a table for ten without wait or complaints. Our drink orders were quickly taken and served – waters all around, along with chips and salsa. The chips had good flavor, crispness, and thickness. The salsa tasted very fresh and was nicely flavored – just the right amount of heat and lots of other flavors!

I ordered a shredded beef Chimichanga, and my son ordered a burrito entree. The portions were very large, and we didn’t leave hungry. Both items were high quality and nicely seasoned. The shredded beef was delicious without adding salsa, and the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The beans and rice were good, and the portions filled the large plates.

Others in our party tried various dishes, and the taco salad bowl was especially popular. No one had any complaints, and there was a lot of sampling of each other’s dishes.

In the end, we had a fantastic time, enjoyed our service and our food, and spent just under $20 per person, including tax and gratuity. I will look forward to returning here on a future trip and will crave the taste in the meantime.

First time visiting, and we will definitely be back. Instead of dinner and a movie, we did a movie then a dinner. The restaurant is very clean and the staff welcomed us upon entry and thanked us as we left. Extensive menu, but we opted for the simple combination menus items, and they did not disappoint. The tri-color chips were fresh and crisp and the accompanied salsa was excellent with just a bit of heat and very good. We both got combos…2 items and three items. One plate with chili relleno and shredded beef tostada. Probably the best relleno in the quad cities. Tostada was loaded and delicious. Other combo was good with yummy cheese enchilada, and a very tender, juicy, seasoned chicken wet burrito, and a shredded beef taco that was tasty and had a perfect crunch, but could have a bit more beef in it. Our waitress was Arankza and she was very polite, attentive, professional and took great care of us. This place is a hidden gem by the Best Western. THANK YOU for crowning a great night out!!!

We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant. Our order was taken, then a large group came in. They were fed and clearing the tables and 45 minutes later we still had no food. Their attitude was we know it’s slow. They blamed it on the group that came in after we did. The street tacos were hard like hard shell tacos. The beans were watered down. Called the manager at the main restaurant and he said I had no right to complain. They lost customers for life.
