Food was ok, service was horrible! We had a party of 14 they did not have seating until a party left, which we understood , they told us as soon as another large party left we could have the table, we had all eaten and we’re just conversation some of us with alcoholic beverage erages , some without. They sat another party before the table was even cleaned and then asked one of our tables to leave as they were not drinking alcohol! I know some restaurants only let you stay for so long not purchasing additional items, but we were a party of 14 split between 3 tables and several.people standing, regardless of any of this the waitress was very rude the entire time, another one of our ta les made the same comme t about their waitress, by the time 4 of us were asked to leave you could not even walk in there so many people they were trying g to seat

Super small and confined resturant, the music is waayyy too loud I could not hear the person with me at my table! The DJ sucked he kept playing two songs at once and skipping parts, he was horrible. The servers only came to our table 1 time and she brought the wrong food but we ate it anyways. Do not recommend, don’t come here unless you wanna go deaf and have poor hospitality service!!

So you don’t get chips n salsa unless they ask you first. It’s still complementary. Had a torta for the first time. It was pretty good. My dad had ordered a meal and ceviche. The food was good. No white sauce for chips. This is authentic as it’s gotten in Norfolk to me. They don’t even speak english. Go figure. Food was good.

I was very disappointed!!!! I previously had gotten a sopa de mondongo when I had gone there for the first time and I was pleased and it may have been because it was during lunch time but it was loaded with tripe and the cow feet along with lots of vegetables. Today my husband wanted some so we ordered 2 sopas de mondongo to go, this time I went around 7:30ish when I got home and served it in a bowl it barely had any tripe and the only vegetable was one piece of Chayote. They should have just said no we don’t have any more instead of just given me coconut milk and rice. What happened to the vegetable and tripe ???? For the amount of money we spent it should be worth it instead you have basically the leftover.

I walk in this place two ladies on duty right now service was real bad a fool wasn’t on the table I drink was it on the table my silverware was not on the table they thought I didn’t have money in my pocket pay for the food I order when she bought the food to the table it was not without she did not bring the Monterey cuz I asked for no did she ask me what kind of lottery I wanted she went back there in the kitchen and she was back there for a long time another customer came in did waiting on him right away he got his drink and his silverware

8PM, there were 3 waitresses and three other tables sat.
We (wife and 6 others) were sitting for 20 minutes before the waitress came around. We got a bowl of chips 15 minutes later without anything to dip them in.
We got our food over 30 minutes after ordering,
My “Supreme beef Nachos” was almost room temperature, did not have any vegetables, and was covered in fajita steak.
My wife’s Quesadilla was just as cold, and covered in the guac salad she told them not to include.
Our drinks came 10 minutes “after” the food. The waitress didn’t know what a “Crown and Coke” was. It tasted like melted ice and half a shot in a small glass.
We never got any water or salsa, the waitress never asked if we wanted more drinks, the other waitresses didn’t pay us any mind.
The other people in our group resorted to getting drinks next door and coming back for the karaoke.
The DJ seemed like he was running the place and the waitresses seemed like they were just there out of obligation.
Do NOT visit.

I have been coming here for a long time. You can tell the clientele and workers are authentic Mexicans or Hispanics that enjoy real Hispanic food. I usually get my food to go, but today I decided to eat in the restaurant. I always get the tacos Carne Asada because it is the best Carne Asada I’ve ever had and all of hampton roads and I love Mexican food so I’ve eaten out pretty much every my same place that I can think of. A regular customer even suggested a dish that is similar to empanadas, but even better the pastry they used was flaky and crispy. Their Carne Asada is always flavor just right and very tender that you can just bite right through it and it’s melting your mouth. Their tortillas in their chips are also homemade, and you can tell them. I feel like this place was under the radar for a very long time, but you have to check this out as soon as you can!
