Delicious food and mega portions! We liked that the chips included both a jalapeno cream and a salsa dip. The menu is very expansive, with something for everyone. We especially liked the carne asada burrito and the grilled chicken covered in peppers and onions. The cheese sauce is really tasty, so you should at least get one dish with that. We tried the fried cheesecake dessert as well, with the flavors all working perfectly together.

Great Mexican food. Great margaritas. No wait on the food. Wait staff super friendly. And not too terribly far off the interstate. Great parking for my flatbed dually. Not expensive at all. Definitely recommend stopping in, if you live authentic Mexican food!

This is the best place to have a birthday dinner!! They make a big deal with a huge sambar for you to wear, staff sings and a free surprise!! We love a good cocktail so we got a fancy flaming drink!! But they are also amazing with a huge dessert with an amazing shooting sparkler!! They go above and beyond. Of course they have the best food at the best price!!!! Can’t brag enough. They are in Buckner, have to go!!!!!

Stopped here on my road trip to Texas, and I’m so glad that I did. Decided I needed a break and didn’t want to do fast food again. I got the Pollo San Luis. It was so good. The food quality is really outstanding yes thank you. Their chips and salsa they serve with some kinda of tangy dip. It so good. The service is outstanding. This place is very close to the exit. Easy to get in, easy to get out. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

The service is amazing, and the food is good. We came because we follow a band (Rhythm & Wine) but we will be back again and again. This family owned restaurant is a gem. They all seem to pitch in and help each other, with smiles, and they make the meal very enjoyable. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this kind of service.

I arrived last at 8pm 2/14/26 and it took 14 minutes to be recognized sitting at the bar while the “bartender” chatted it up with his buddy, sitting 3 chairs over! Another waiter actually came and asked me if I would like something. In one hour, he stopped back bye to check on me real quick and I ordered queso and he disappeared again. I was never given a menu or offered another drink. It was not that busy in there at any point and I can see why! 1 large Miller Lite and a small queso was $18! The service was so bad, I will never even pull into their parking lot to turn around! Pitiful!!!!!!

I have eaten there many times and enjoyed it. I wonder if they changed ownership because this was the worst meal I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered a Fajita Chimichanga and cheese dip, the chimichanga was bland and flavorless and the cheese dip was like water. I got carryout or I would have sent it back and left. $27.00 and it wasn’t eatable.

Perfect service, very friendly staff, and manager present checking on customers. Food and atmosphere was a level above El Nopal. Inside of the restaurant looked clean and had nice decor with branded booths.
Jalepeno Cucumber Margarita was the highlight of my meal. I was scared to try it, but wow. The flavor is very smooth somehow, and has pieces of jalapeños in the drink. Loved how the margarita flavor was beneath the cucumber and jalpeno. Didn’t get pictures because I didn’t plan to review a little Mexican restaurant. Better than good experience, drinks, and food, so 5 stars it is.
Carne Asade was on point. The Steak, onions, and peppers were cooked well and the flavor of the dish was proper. Loved the large bell onions and the bed of sliced onions under the steak.
Chimchanga isn’t fried, more like a burrito with just meat and queso on top. Same thing happened at another place recently. Thought chimis are deep fried burritos… Still good. Loved the shredded beef – it was juicy and had nice consistency and flavor.
