Mi Taquito Grill established in 2017 is a a family owned and operated establishment. We take pride in our authentic flavors that we bring. We started serving our delicious food in paradise in 2008, under the name “Burritos El Caporal” at 6150 Clark Rd. Paradise, CA. We rebranded in 2017 to all locations being named Mi Taquito Grill.

G/f just picked up food for the family, this place was open early so we gave it a try. Everything was OK.. but the steak quesadilla we ordered has little to no cheese and they put sour cream right inside along with other cold toppings which is super weird to me… they do have the toppings listed on the menu so that’s on us for not looking but how do the add all this cold stuff to a quesadilla that has no cheese on it?? Probably my first and last time ever going to this truck, plenty of better options in Chico.

Food quality:
Overall was awful and dry. The rice and beans were lacking any flavor not to mention dry as a bone.
The two tacos we did get out of four were the only good thing. The california burrito has probably less than 1/4th cup of chicken in the whole thing and was mouthfuls of fries and sauce.
I loveeee my beans and rice I just wanted some good old fashioned food like grandma makes. But this was not it. If you want rice and beans and don’t know how to, goto foodmax and get some pasta roni “Spanish rice” way better and cheaper.
Drink:
Horchata is a simple but delightful rice milk based drink. What we got was sand. We got sand.
Our mouths were coated with cinnamon in not a fun way and something else. Instead of being refreshing it was just awful mouthfuls of sand.
I really wish I could get a refund so I can finally get some real tacos and beans 🙁

Best taco truck this side of Chico, keep an eye out for the weekly specials, ESPECIALLY the trompo tacos on Tuesday, but also the birria on Fridays. Also they just reopened their old spot across town on Cherry Street!

This was our first time eating here and the food was not good. We ordered to go. I ordered a chicken bowl with extra chicken and I barely got any chicken at all! What I got was a bowl of lettuce. The same went with the chicken quesadilla. Very disappointing.

I’ve been eating here for the past 3 years, by far one of my favorite places to stop and get lunch or dinner. I’ve now gotten my family and gf addicted. Definitely recommend the tacos and Cali burrito with pastor.
