Everything on the menu is fantastic. The food is amazing for the price and the owners are wonderful and friendly.

Update: After 3 years I finally got to try their breakfast. Don’t sleep on it. I don’t really like refried beans but these are the best I’ve had.

This place is fiyah. If you are look for authentic Colombian food, and not expecting American influence, then this is the place to be. I think there were three people in the back making the food, and if I could recall they were all family. Mother, son, and his wife. The food was amazing. I would definitely go back, and I would definitely suggest this place to everyone I know who’s looking for a change in venue, and a good quaint spot to visit. Literally every bit was good. What ever sauce I had is out of this world. This is definitely one of my go to spots for friends, and family to visit.

Great portion size! Expect to pay around $15 for your meal but also expect that meal to fill you, so you will most likely end up taking home food if you get sides. Their tequenos are HUGE! the rice has such a nice flavor, the sausage has a different taste than the traditional bandeja paisa which is great if u don’t like that hard sausage. The chiccaron isn’t super oily and u get ALOT of beans. All in all this place is a gem and that’s coming from a lvl 8 reviewer!!!

This gem of a location is easy to miss if you’re not looking. But let me be clear, this place has the most delicious food I’ve eaten in a long time!! Every bite I took was an explosion of flavor, and took me to places I never thought possible in the realm of tastiness! Think I’m exaggerating? Go visit and decide for yourself. Service was exceptional, even with the pre-lunch rush in full swing. Although they said food may be delayed and take up to 10 to 15 mins, it was worth the wait. Food was served piping hot and succulent to the tongue. I’d recommend this location any day, every day. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordered chicken with rice and plantain. Food was just okay, Horchata was good but the total was slick expensive ($21).
I was pretty disappointed when I got white rice instead of Spanish rice and also, when they said they don’t have queso, just melted shredded cheese. Bc I slick coulda just made this at home but….

& No refills on horchata, you would have to spend another $4.50 if you wanted a top-off, just fyi

This was a first & last visit

From start to finish all exceptional. Tried as many things as I could, everything was prepared fresh and very quick. The main reason I came was for the maduros(fried plantains), excellent.

Very small, very good restaurant. This was one of the restaurants on Houston Chronicle’s Top 25 Hole in the Wall restaurants, and I see why. I wanted to make sure I had a dish they are known for, Ropa Vieja. Full of flavor! The juices from the meat seasoned the rice well. That seasoned rice went great with the beans. The only thing that could maybe be improved is how much rice they put on each plate. It’s a lot of rice!

To accompany my main fish, I ordered one Pandebono and some Agua de Piña. Delicious! The agua had no pulp, but was very tasty. Not too sweet either. The Pandebono I had never had (or heard of before). They are dangerous little things. Very tasty, and just small enough to want 20 more .

Definitely a win in my book!

Food is always fresh and delicious. I have lunch here anytime I’m working close by. It’s a bit small but great service and food is always consistent. A definite must try.

I’m Colombian and idk what’s the hype on this restaurant. I order take out. Bandeja paisa. Portions were very small the pork taste old. Come on now I paid 25 dollars for a plate that’s wasn’t worth 10. Gave me one little small piece of plantain. This place sucks a waste of money.

Les deveria de dar pena mejor que se pongan a vender tacos
