Best homemade tortillas in the area. Great customer service and really good breakfast tacos special, you can mix. No need to be all 3 same like most other places. The daily special has 3 choices and tea is included. Highly recommend.

Enchiladas were a little small, but hard to complain with the prices. My wife had a Gordita with fajita meat, and the flavor was really good. Would definitely return to try the fajitas.

This place is like a little piece of heaven that leaked out when the angels’ heads were turned. The food is like the best of what you think of when you think of San Antonio Mexican food. The lunch specials’ prices are somehow stuck in 1986 and the drink is included in that price?! Wow! The mole here is rich, sweet, and delicious with 25 ingredients. Come on Friday for the mole lunch special. The staff here is incredibly friendly. I feel like I made new friends. This is my new favorite San Antonio Mexican food place.

The food was pretty good, but it was the rancid chips that really skewed my opinion… clean or change your grease. The flour tortillas were really good, fresh, hot, made to order. Quantity was good, and being there for the breakfast special would have made it all better. The service was impersonal, and I felt like I could have just as easily gotten my food as the waitress. Still left her a tip, which reinforced her inept service. I would go back, and quietly recommend it.

The barbacoa plays was good, refried beans a little too runny for me. Eggs were cooked good. Nothing special about the potatoes, too blan. But hey, it was priced good. Waitress was quick to take our order. I’ll try lunch time next time.

Where do I start? This place is amazing!! I stumbled upon this amazing authentic Mexican Restaurant on a road trip to San Riverwalk. The reason for the visit was all the great reviews, they weren’t wrong!! The food is amazing! The staff is amazing! The food cane out promptly and hot! Hands down the best Mexican breakfast I’ve had in a long time! The prices are very inexpensive. Bottom line… it’s worth the journey off the beaten path to enjoy this gem. It now is on my list of must stop when I’m in the area!! Keep up the great quality of food, keep up the great service and keep up all the flavors!! It’s crazy I found this place surrounded by other Mexican restaurants. I will always return!!! Thank you!

The food and service here are outstanding. Mi Rancho Alegre has the best lunch specials bar none. $6.49 with tea plus tax. That in itself is hard to find now anywhere in SA. Highly recommend.
