The food is amazing and great prices especially for how much you get.
The service was outstanding they were all so nice and helpful with any questions I had. I love how clean the place was and that the menu was so detailed in English and Spanish.
I hope they are here for years to come.

I leave this review in hopes that it makes the place better.
I came on a Sunday 11am trip to find a nice sit down restaurant with good Mexican food where I can be a regular and bring family that comes and visits.
I got the barbacoa torta with an horchata.
Positives: food was great! Fries were fresh and crunchy. All food was fresh! The torta was amazing!! Good touch on giving me some jalapeños on my plate. The salsas on the table weren’t too spicy.
– good menu options.
-Good location
-plenty of parking
-nice Hispanic decor
-Mexican music was good
-price was okay. Not terrible. Food made up for it for sure.
Reccomendations:
1. Hire a server. I came in and the tables were dirty. At first glance, it made me want to leave but I really wanted to try the food. This restaurant has the chance to be the only Mexican restaurant in red oak with service to the table.
2. Install a working TV or at least have the TV on. This would help the atmospheres. If I was distracted with a TV I may not even have time to write this review lol.
3. Keep trash bins out of the customer view.
4. Check on tables more Often (see #1. Hire server)
I intend to come back and see if the place has improved. I hope it does and I hope my review does more good than damage. I plan to revise my review when i come on my second visit because I want this restaurant to succeed.

I’ve been here a few times with my family and the food is always great. However, it’s disappointing to see dirty tables and floors while we’re eating. The restaurant isn’t very large, so I feel keeping it clean should be more manageable. I hope this is something they can improve because the food really is good.

We love hunting for street tacos and have tried all the nearby places since moving, this one is TOP notch!! The Carne Asada is 10/10, 5 stars, chef’s kiss! The prices are great, sautéed onions are delicious, everything hits! They are so nice, we always order to go and everything is well packaged and fresh when we get home.

I just found my new spot! The food is so delicious you will not be disappointed! Also if you love churros this is YOUR new place to go. The service is friendly and welcoming. We had our baby with us and he was yelling so I got nervous. The owner made me feel comfortable and that it was fine!!!

Tried this place for the first time. Pockets dip food to go. Ordered milanesa torta, the meat was stiff and poorly seasoned. Part of it was salty while other pieces were bland. I was surprised they did not add beans to the bread. Very underwhelming and served with pickled jalapeños instead of a jalapeño costeño. The price is reasonable but I would not order this again. I’m not sure I will return. My food was cold.

Good stuff feels authentic good portions their aguas are good also carnitas and pastor did it for me tonight, but I tried them all. Most definitely be back the people are friendly and the place is clean and the is a badass chairs to sit on what what!!

If i can do 10 stars i would. Me and my husband love this place so much! I’m from the RGV 956 close to the border of MX. WE KNOW TACOS!!! These taste just like the ones in Mexico. Hands down NO OTHER taqueria is in competition with this 1! We love it so much!!!

Today I went to purchase tacos which are really delicious by the way and because it’s Mexican mother day. The young lady at drive thru surprised me with a red rose , piece of cake, and covered strawberry pastry. Thank you, kind gesture go a long way!

I’ve been to many of the red oak Mexican restaurants, and they’re just decent. Having gone to this one after everything else was packed I was not disappointed. First of all everything to me seemed very fresh. The way the meat was prepared with no fat in it and chopped so nicely inside the torta is what really did it for me. Lots of places have fajita meat that’s just gray and nasty or very chewy. You can tell this meat was prepared fresh. I would highly recommend anyone wanted Mexican food that’s actually good in red oak. Please show this place some love. Prices are good too!! Paid $30 for me and my wife. 10/10
