Little hole in the wall Mexican food place about 5 minutes south of downtown Denton. Waiter was very attentive & made sure all my needs were met. I had the Menudo. Very flavorful. Did not have a lot of hominy. But that’s ok.
Place needs a new inside roof – but that’s nic- picky on my part. Looking forward to going back to try other menu items. Small serving of pinto beans with salsa. That was a nice treat.

I stumbled upon this place trying to go to Mr Frosty which was closed down. Glad I found it because it was good and the customer service was awesome. I really enjoyed the chips and also made fresh. I couldn’t even eat all of my food. After 1 taco and rice I was full. Also the beans were good. I’ll be returning

Food exactly like I grew up on, down in South Texas. The atmosphere was authentic and so was the food. Thank you to the wait staff for being the cherry on top. I cannot express how enjoyable it was to be there.

We’re so glad that the nearest Tex-Mex joint to our home is so tasty! Been dining here both in-restaurant and to-go for 15+ years at this great little hole in the wall and the food is consistently delicious. Good chips, better salsa, and great entrees, plus they serve a nice lil bean soup as part of their chip and salsa service. They use fresh spinach in their quesadillas and enchiladas instead of frozen! The service can be a little hit or miss – never bad, just sometimes a bit slow – and the space isn’t fancy though it is clean, but the food comes out piping hot straight from the kitchen (the cheese on our enchiladas was literally sizzling tonight!), so we see no reason to complain. If you’re in the mood for a tasty, reliable, no-frills Tex-Mex bite, you’ve come to the right place. And don’t worry if you pull up and think there’s nowhere to park – there are spaces alongside and around back.
