I visited Mi Ranchito for the first time today and it was just what I needed. It is situated in a small strip mall, is cozy, decorated well with great Mexican music. The bathroom was incredibly clean and smelled nice. Maybe I should mention how good the food was too, I mean, that’s why I stopped by in the first place. The chips and salsa were so good. They were super thick tasty chips with a very tasty house salsa. That was reason enough to eat here. I ordered a California Burrito and a few Tacos. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. Don’t hesitate giving these guys a try. I will certainly be back. The service was top notch and the prices very reasonable.

“This beef soup is the definition of comfort food. It has that authentic, homemade taste that reminds me exactly of my grandma’s cooking. The vegetables and meat are perfectly cooked—the meat is tender and the veggies are fresh and savory. I loved the companions of raw onion and cilantro, but the real star is the oily red hot sauce they serve on the side. It adds an incredible kick that brings the whole bowl to life. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a soul-warming meal!”

This is a perfect go to in this neighborhood. The food is very authentic and full of flavor. The staff is extremely kind and are very helpful and fast. I always get a bunch of tacos and a Jamaica to drink. They have indoor and outdoor seating and both areas are comfortable. I highly recommend eating there.

I had 2 tacos and a burrito combo. Carne asada. The tacos were small and tasty but the burrito was the star. Full of flavor with the perfect mix of meat, beans, and rice. Simple and delicious.

Traveling from Texas and the mural on the side now the building caught my eye. I ordered the carnitas plate and they give you a good portion. It was very good and glad that I ordered this. I must also mention that the restroom was very clean and I always believe that says alot about your restaurant.

Talk about a hidden gem. Very reasonably prices food and very authentic Mexican food. I had the quesabierra tacos which were phenomenal. We also had the chicken taco salad. It has great flavor and was very filling. No doubt up there as one of the best authentic Mexican places in reno.

This is an awesome spot. Very authentic, great service, DELICIOUS lunch, very fresh food. Complimentary chips & salsa. Taco salads are huge, so we had leftovers. Pretty small spot, but it was surprisingly uncrowded. There were a good number of groups in there.

Beautiful little hole in the wall super clean and very gorgeous inside. The staff was very friendly and quick with the order. I got a chicken Chimichanga and it is perfect!!! I just have one request…Don’t ever change your tortilla recipe it has the taste of fry bread it’s sooo good and it was a chunky burrito well worth every penny!

My first time to eat here and I was craving a bowl of pozole. I’m critical when it comes to posole at restaurants because I make one hell of a pozole at home. But this one I have to say, it even arrivals mine. And that saying a lot! If you’re into posole, I highly recommended it. The service is also fantastic. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back next time. I’m in Reno.
