I had a really good experience at Mi Ranchito while visiting Kansas City a few weeks ago. One thing that stood out right away was the trio of salsas served with the complimentary chips- something you don’t see very often and a fun touch. I ordered the chile rellenos and taco combination with rice and beans, and everything was delicious and nicely seasoned. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Overall, Mi Ranchito was a great stop for authentic and flavorful Mexican food.

The food is absolutely delicious! I loved the variety of options and the flavor of each dish. What I really liked was that they have activities for children, such as coloring pages, which makes it a very pleasant family place. Although the restaurant is a bit small, the atmosphere is cozy and makes for a very pleasant time. The staff is excellent, very friendly and attentive. I am very satisfied with my experience at this restaurant and recommend it to families and those looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

I tried this Mexican restaurant recently and it was real good. I did not care for the chips and salsa I feel they tasted not fresh but rest of meal was good.
We sat outside and they have small patio area with shade.
I ordered #2 Dos combinations which consisted of Pork Carnitas Burrito, Deep Fried Ground Beef Taco, Bean and Cheese Tostada. It came with beans and rice. I also had Margaritas which was not best either, tasted too much like mix.
Best of the best was fried tacos
Overall it was nice experience and staff was very friendly and polite.

We’ve passed this spot a few times and today decided to stop in. Why we waited so long is beyond me, the food was excellent! Our server Santiago was attentive, kind and very helpful. We had the Espinaca queso which is not too spicy but has a tiny kick to it. Husband had street tacos and I had the fried tacos. Everything was so good, seasoned perfectly and came out nice and hot. Service was fast too and we got sat immediately, not long after we arrived the place packed out. If you haven’t been don’t sleep on this spot!

We actually dined at the Southlake location tonight, but I just had to hop on here and rave about the service we received from one of your servers there. Casey was our server tonight, and he and Shane were outstanding. Casey was running the bar and our entire side of the restaurant. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and accommodating. We never had to ask for refills, we never ran out of chips, and our food came out hot. The food was fantastic but our service was exceptional. Casey did the work of 4 servers and made it look easy. He consistently checked in on us even though the place was packed. I wrote a review for the Southlake location regarding to his service, but I absolutely had to make sure his manager knew the kind of service we received tonight. If Casey’s service is any testament to the standards at this store I will gladly drive across town to this location after the example he set tonight. Thank you for a wonderful New Years Eve!

Have been going here since moving to the area 4 years ago. Something has changed in last 6 months. Original crew no longer there, new staff doesn’t know what menu says about happy hour, we had to point it out. And worst of all, food quality is way down. Disappointing, we’ll be looking for a new Mexican restaurant to spend our money at.

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite. Chips and Salsa are on point. Chile Verde Burrito is HUGE and I could only eat a couple bites after chowing down on chips, salsa, and guacamole dip, and my daughter enjoyed the deep fried tacos. Service was great and super quick.
