I’ve been a long-time customer, although I usually place my orders through Uber Eats. The last time I ordered was back in January because I decided to take a break from ordering out for a while. Today I finally decided to order again, and I even made sure to place the order earlier in the day so everything would be prepared properly and I would receive the full order without any issues. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake.
I ordered my usual combo roast pork, which clearly states on the menu that it comes with rice and beans. However, when I received my order, there were no beans included at all, and the portion of roast pork was extremely small—far less than what should be expected for a combo meal. It honestly looked like barely any pork was included.
I’m really not sure how something like this happens, especially when the item is clearly listed as a combo that includes rice and beans. Those are basic components of the meal, and leaving them out completely while also providing such a small portion of the main item is very disappointing.
As someone who has ordered from here many times before, this experience is frustrating and disappointing. I made sure to order earlier specifically to avoid issues like this, yet the order still arrived incorrect. For a paying customer, especially a returning one, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. I hope this can be addressed so other customers don’t have the same experience.

Me and my family order big trays of the picadera often.. sometimes little things won’t be cooked correctly like pieces of the yuca or some of the plantains but its not all so I leave it.. this time I was charged $56 for a small tray with only boneless chicken no other meats and they barley even put chicken all pieces burnt and the plantains all of them not cooked fully.. I called to tell them I felt over charged and she said the prices went up but a whole $10? If I’m only getting one meat? Chicken out of all things.. I sent photos over and everything to a number provided and all I was offered was a $15 discount? We barley ate this everyone in my family left most the food on the plate and all of the rest in the tray in the trash.. that $15 the cover a $56 in the damn trash.. im not going back ever again and I’ll share my experience with everyone I know because that’s horrible

I rarely do this because I honestly I’m a loyal customer of many local restaurants , BUT.. this situation is so ridiculous I have to make people aware of .
I have been ordering from this place for at least 3 years now if not more , I place the SAME EXACT ORDER every single week at least once or twice a week and I even make the effort to speak Spanish since it’s their home language in order to make it easy for them .
So here we go , I called again for the 5 thousand time to place the same exact order and the woman on the phone seemed confused even tho I was talking to her in her native language , she out me on hold 3 times to take an one single order , obviously she had NO CLUE about the menu . Fine , I wait for the order and I get something completely different from what I usually order so I called them and explained what happened. The woman on the phone tells me she asked the chef and he sent me the order , so I explained to her that is NOT WHAT I ORDER EVERY WEEK . I even went as far to say they could come and get the food back since we are not eating and all she kept doing was telling me that’s what the chef made . Duhhh that’s what the chef made but it’s not what I ordered .
Making a long story short , she didn’t offer to fix and send the correct order , she didn’t offer me a discount or a credit towards a future order either .
With that said sounds like nowadays they send you what the chef decides to cook or what the inexperienced person on the phone understands and not what you actually order . With that said they lost a loyal customer because I will certainly NOT ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN !!!

I usually have no problems with this restaurant but today I decided to try something new and got a Cuban sandwich…. It was the worst cuban I’ve ever had and I had to wait 40 mins for them to make it .. they barely used mustard the bread was bone dry I had to add my own, the cheese was non existent I also had to add my own, there was 1 slice of ham on it and a bunch of dried out pernil they clearly over cooked the sandwich I would never get that again im pissed I waited that long and wasted my money on that and the tres Golpes that was also sub par, the salami was nasty definitely not induveca sadly, and the mangu was bland and super chunky and cold mind you i picked the order up so how is my food cold…

I would like to share my experience with this restaurant I’ve had two episodes in the past, and I tried to let it go and gave them another chance but tonight I have some fried chicken delivered and it was over fried overcooked, and it was dried inside I spoke with the manager she said that’s how they cook their chicken that was terrible for her to say that , I’m a cook myself and when I fry my chicken is juicy inside crispy on the outside I would never order for them again.. to put the icing on the cake the manager says to me over the phone that she looked at the order before it was delivered out. I think they gave me chicken that was already fried and then they try to refried it. Terrible service.

Was craving a good Cuban sandwich so I gave this place a try and ordered takeout. Two simple sandwiches weren’t ready even 25min after ordering which I suppose they could’ve been busy but what I received was incredibly disappointing. The pork in the Cuban was so over done that I had difficulty even biting through some pieces and the ham and cheese sandwich was the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning to try anything else.

This place has it all, but hurry because they are not open all day‼️ ♂️ great food good prices very friendly atmosphere and plenty of parking, underground you may not be so lucky finding parking above ground.
