Best Mexican food in Valpo ! Authentic NO ketchup salsa here. Glad a new real Mexican spot is open. Tried the mi pueblito breakfast was great wife had the enchiladad all 3 mole, green and red. Loved so mucj came back for dinner had the tripa taco, pastor and campechano. All great again we needed a real Mexican restaurant.

I went there yesterday, we had a large group, 9 adults and two kids. Our waitress was nice enough, but slow and seemed that they were running all over the place confused. Our food orders got all messed up and the waitress came back 3-4 times asking us what we had ordered. It seems that she got her tickets confused with other tables. The manager ended up taking care of us after that, but the waitress messed up our ticket and ended up charging us $20-30 more than we actually ordered. The manager was really helpful and nice, but I would not go there again. I understand they are a new business and are just starting out, but the restaurant was not busy enough for there to be that many mistakes.

Based on the time it took to get food it seemed they were understaffed it took over 50 minutes to get everyone at my table their food, the amount of ingredients in some food was ridiculous low.

Wow!!!! It’s about time we found a true authentic Mexican restaurant here in Valpo!!! I had the mole, green and red enchiladas and they were delicious!!!!! Moving from Chicago 6 years ago, my husband and I have been struggling to find real authentic fresh Mexican restaurant in Valpo and it was so so great!! Give this place a try! And please be patient and kind they just opened and they are trying so hard to be great with their service. My experience with the service was great!!! No complaints here! We will definitely be back!!!!!
Update: We went back for dinner and I had the chiles rellenos yum!!!! So so good!! And also had churros for dessert! Everything they make tastes so fresh! They even make their own tortilla chips! We will definitely be regulars here!!! Also, they are open til 11 pm!!!
