You can taste the love in this food! Best spot to eat in Seymour. Even if you’re in Sevierville/PF, it’s definitely worth the quick drive. Don’t leave without a milhoja!

I tried the burger only because it’s what is pictured on their sign out front. It was an ok, big burger with fries that were remarkably close to McDonald’s. The patties were obviously just store bought frozen burger patties. Everyone else ordered the cuban sandwich and they were good, just was hoping for more meat and much less fat from the pork. The service was lacking. Good note, we ordered the beef empanadas and they were really good. Ended on a bad note, the dessert roll thing, we couldn’t get them to tell us what it was called, was very stale and the prices are very high for what you get. One and done for us.

Cuban food done right. Not cheap. This is the cheap lunch or family on a budget place. You get authentic dishes and killer desserts for a cost. Let’s talk about it….

The restaurant eating area is open and clean. I like that. It just feels… clean. some would call it sterile, but I enjoy that kind of environment.

The menu has plenty of dishes, and the portions are large. If you’re a lite eater, you can share or make two meals.

I have visited twice, and both times I enjoyed what I got… except… are you ready for this? The Cuban Sandwich… like what!

Cuban Sandwich: Portions are good, but it lack seasoning, and we didn’t get any au-jus. So it was just a blah let down.

My favorite is the Tostones. They are basically Cuban tostadas or if you like open-face jibaritos. Little fried plantains covered in deliciousness.

Desserts: Too many to name. But they are right up front and in your face… perfect!

Pros: Authentic, clean, good selection.

Cons: Price, Staff is somewhat friendly, Cuban Sandwich lacks flavor

The food is so good,
Only thing I didn’t like was why the server add us the service feed when we’re only a party of 2 adults and 2 kids? Plus she didn’t say anything about it and we give her 18% more when we were paying at the cashier.
So just because you see us with different skin colors doesn’t mean we are not going to tip you.
Next time it will be nice if they say they already add the tip on our check.
You even have signs where is saying groups of 6 and more people gratuity it will be included.

Okay I was a little skeptical at first but once I sank my teeth into this food it was absolutely amazing. Like Christmas in my mouth. My wife got the chicken and rice and I got the beef strips (I’ll have to look at what is called exactly). I really just can’t describe the flavor in this food. It was SO good! I will say it was a little pricey at first glance but once you see the portion sizes and the quality of the food it’s totally worth it. I can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere is great, the bread and desserts are phenomenal and the best part of the whole thing is I feel like family when I’m there. Definitely give it a try!

Mi Querida Colombia is a gem of a restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the festive and lively decor, setting a vibrant tone for our dining experience. The staff greeted us warmly and were exceptionally attentive and kind throughout our visit.

The food here is absolutely amazing, with generous portions perfect for sharing. We indulged in the Picada Colombiana, which included a mouth-watering array of steak, chicken, chorizo, blood sausage, arepa, fried yuca, fried plantains, and Creole potatoes—ample enough to comfortably feed three people.

We also enjoyed the Bandeja Paisa, a hearty dish featuring fried pork belly, grilled beef, white rice, red beans, a fried egg, homemade sausage, sweet plantains, avocado, and a corn cake (arepa). Each element was cooked to perfection, delivering authentic flavors in every bite. The empanadas were so good.
The Goku salad was a fresh and delicious blend of avocado, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. It was the perfect complement to our meal.

To quench our thirst, we tried the Jugo Natural de Mango and Jugo de Guava both were incredibly fresh and tasty.

For dessert, we savored the Bocadillos de Queso y Guayaba, which were absolutely on point. I also had a Café con Leche that I thoroughly enjoyed.

If you’re looking for authentic Colombian food, Mi Querida Colombia is a must-visit. Highly recommended—Five Stars!

This was a nice dinner, guacamole salad WAS FANTASTIC. The BURGER WAS PHENOMENAL. Smoky grilled flavor.
I fear this restaurant won’t be here long due to pricing. Very expensive.

What a wonderful addition to Seymour! Everything they make is very tasty and flavorful without being smothered in oil or sauces like Mexican restaurants.
I highly recommend a Cuban Sandwich and an espresso as an excellent breakfast!
