Was just driving in the neighborhood and saw this cute little mom and pop Mexican restaurant with Seafood. Had to stop in being from San Diego. Absolutely wonderful service, friendly staff, happy energy inside the place. Food was outstanding and fresh. I got the chicken salad and the grilled fish taco. More street size tacos. Definitely recommend

A random first time visit turned into a new must visit! Some of the best Quesa Birria tacos I’ve had in a long time.
Salsas have great flavor (and spice), Pico was fantastic, and the tacos quesa birria amazing.

Pretty Good Food, higher prices, restaurant is always cold, with the TV going. It’s ok, not great atmosphere.

Guac is good, but the most expensive in town. Better menu than most places but if you go as a group to enjoy a variety of food triple check the bill.

Service is super uneven. Sometime fast, sometimes super slow which is NBD but dishes for multiple diners rarely come out together. They let one person sit with no food while everyone else finishes for food gets cold. Not ideal.

Prices seem to fluctuate somewhat randomly. It’s totally fine to charge more for a credit card order, but then they randomly don’t give the discount for cash, and don’t have change.

A 3 taco dinner is just 3 tacos no beans or rice, except sometimes it’s included. Standard 3 taco DINNER comes with beans & rice everywhere else 3 tacos alone is called “3 tacos” NOT A DINNER. Goofy.

Sometime they charge more for al pastor, sometimes not. Double check your order BEFORE paying!!!

I’m very pleased with this establishment. Abigail is very attentive with positive energy and Cecilia warms my heart. They accommodate my friend and I as to giving us the kind of information needed to be satisfied with our food. Cecilia explained the portion and ingredients so that I can agree to ge selection or edit when needed. It’s the best place to eat fresh chips and refried beans. It has been our favorite spot to go to since we first discovered it this summer.

Hands down the best torta I have ever had. The fresh bread made all the difference. It was fluffy on the inside and just a touch crispy on the outside. The birria was tender and juicy. Everything fresh. Truly a pleasure to eat.

Edit: went back today for another and Google prompted me to update the review. Still good. Added another pic.

We came to Mi Pueblo Two in Chicago for a late breakfast (around 1 PM), and everything hit the spot. The staff was welcoming and on top of it—friendly, fast, and super attentive. Right away, we were served chips, salsa, and beans, which were all packed with flavor and a great way to start the meal.

We ordered tacos, chilaquiles with eggs, and huevos con chorizo—and every dish delivered. The tacos were loaded with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The chilaquiles had that perfect crunch under the green salsa, with eggs cooked just right and a generous layer of crema and cheese. But the real surprise was the huevos con chorizo—super flavorful without being greasy, and paired perfectly with the rice and beans served in those fun crispy tortilla bowls.

Everything from the food to the service made this place feel like a solid local spot we’d come back to. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or something in between, Mi Pueblo Two delivers big flavor with a chill vibe.

We ended up here by accident. We meant to go to El pueblito and instead googled the wrong restaurant LOL.

The food and service was exceptional. The guacamole so fresh and green. That is never the case, I feel like guac In a restaurant is where the brown avocado goes to die. So I never order it. Not here. It was great.

There were 12 of us and had all kinds of dishes. Everything was great. The waitress was super helpful and friendly. The only bad thing was parking. It’s street parking ️ and it’s pretty hard to get a spot. At least with a group of 7 cars descending on this block at the same time. Other than that the food tasted very fresh.

Great food, great service, and great prices!
Everything was delicious! I took my cheer squad to eat after a long practice; they left feeling full with leftovers! There is plenty of free street parking.

A nice small family owned neighborhood Mexican restaurant.

I would recommend tortas and burritos here. Good tasting and very reasonable price.

Green sauce and the salsa are very spicy so be careful with those.

Worth a try. Support this small business

Came in after having a Dr. appointment and been meaning to come in.

Quesobirria Tacos are EXCELLENT! Plenty filling and generous with the braised meat and the all so important consume on the side. House salsas are really good, the Pico has some kick to it.

I enjoyed my lunch and will be back.
