The restaurant is so authentic in its experience and food. The service is impeccable and the place itself is a tribute to the rich culture and heritage of the place and it’s people.
Enough and more vegetarian options too. Ample parking. Outside seating can be tricky if the weather plays traunt but there’s enough internal seating. Weekend evenings can be kinda crowded, so plan on advance
The place also does offer ordering ahead and pickup options

Great food at a great price! We had a nice lunch with good service. It’s tucked away on the corner of King and Fuller. Parking is ok. Back to the food. Good size portions, quick, good chips and salsa and the atmosphere is spot on. We would go back as it was calm and enjoyable.

Perfectly happy with this restaurant. It met the expectation of your typical family sit down mexican restaurant and does it well. I would repeat my visit if I was in town and needed to have a place that could accommodate a large group of people. The Asada mix plate was quite good and the corn tortillas, wherever they source them from, are very good.

We have lived right down the street for the past few years and pass by it everyday and always wanted to try it. We finally did and it did not disappoint. Got seated right away. They give you chips and salsa. They were yummy, but the salsa was a little spicy in my opinion. Ordered two 12oz house margaritas which were good. Didn’t seem watered down like some other places. Ordered our food and we enjoyed all of it. Each food item we got was yummy, but I enjoyed the tamale and taco the best. Finished off all of our food and drinks. Will definitely try to go back soon!

The food was great, both taste and portions. Service was both quick and personable. A “local,” (we are from out of town) said it was the best in Portland. We weren’t disappointed in any way.

Service was very good, the food was okay but definitely on the (unnecessary) expensive side. All three of the people in my party received water with red specks floating in it, service was apologetic and quick to correct it but still gross. My quesadilla was very good but the fajitas were mostly peppers, severely lacking in meat.

Found parking no problem and walked into a cozy and lively decorated restaurant. The ladies that work there were each very very personable. Our food came out pretty darn quick and both of our entrees were delicious. The black beans are exceptional. Everything was going great until I watched one of the waitresses set up water glasses at the bar for a large party that was coming in. She moved them by putting her fingers into and on the rim as she grabbed them to move them a couple of times. Then she push the ice down with her fingers before she poured water into them. I stopped drinking my water.

So very tasty. Spent the entirety of the pandemic waiting to be able to go eat in-person at a Mexican restaurant and this did not disappoint. We got the fish tacos and chicken fajitas, both super flavorful. The rice and beans on the side were excellent. And my mojito really hit the spot. Can’t wait to go back.

The service wasn’t the greatest experience, the restaurant didn’t have anything that a business supported to supply like plates for guests when there cutting a cake for a birthday dinner didn’t have hot sauce at all they charge for every plate we got chips for kids meal costed between $17 to $20 I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here it’s way over price and always out of supplies when I asked the waitress why they don’t have all the stuff all she said was they ran out I paid over $400 for 10 adults and 6 kids it’s over price and not cleaned everything was sticky and chairs seemed like it was gonna brake apart cause it kept on cracking as I moved my chair I didn’t ask for a discount cause I thought from how many times I complained I thought they would discount the bill for all the complains we made and for bad experience but that didn’t happen save ur money and go somewhere else with better service and way cheaper also u wont get hurt if those chairs break while ur sitting down

it’s unfortunate i have to say the food we had today was pretty bad. got the fajitas and the steak was way over cooked, inedible, spit most of it out.. asked for guacamole with our chips, and they said they were out and it was 5pm . beer was flat. used to love this place, don’t know what happened. won’t be back. especially for what they charge for a quesadilla, 23 bucks for sub par crap. food carts, 10 times better for half the price.
