I wouldn’t trust any bad reviews. If you are searching out 5 start rated mexican restaurants, then just come to Mi Pueblo regardless. My wife ordered Ramen Birra, and it is one of the best “exotic to me” trasting dishes I’ve had in a long while. I ordered ala cart which i failed to get photos of. Chilli Releno, tostada, and enchilada. All was to notch. They loaded that Tostada. The brown sauce on the enchilada was exceptional, and somewhat related to the broth of the Ramen birra. This place is easily getting into my top three favorite mexican restaurants in the fort wayne/ new haven area, and unlike the contenders, the serve chili releno, which is one of my favorites. Lastly, the decor is very ethnic and well designed.

Went for lunch and it was great. The only complaint I have is that the menus were dirty they had food on them not one but two of them. So please clean your menus at the end of your shifts.

Very nice small chain Mexican restaurant.
The food is very good even if Americanized.
They took the space of Golden Gate Chinese and added another section to make the dining room bigger.
The pictures show the simple but elegant decor and the bar area is bright and shiny.
My side of rice was a bit dry but still tasty. The pork carnitas was very tender but also came out dry. The chicken burrito was excellent. And the steak burrito was great.

Mi Pueblo is your average mexican restaurant. Their prices are affordable. I would return but I have had better, but I have also paid more for better.

The atmosphere was loud due to being sat right behind a crying child when there were other places to sit further away. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed. Even though it didn’t seem that busy. Now the food. Unless you are ready for a mess and what seemed like a fishing expedition with the cheese dip. It was very runny. The MI Pubelo Enchiladas were very tasty and had a decent spice. My wife had Chimi Acapulco Grande. The appearance looked good. The grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp were nicely seasoned. This was more food than what we were expecting for the money for about $15. Overall, it’s not a bad first experience. Just could have used more napkins with that cheese dip.

I read the other bad reviews and it’s pretty much exactly what happened to me! I ordered carry out at the restaurant and then sat down and waited in the lobby for over half an hour. They had the food in some tinfoil dishes with tight lids, and it looked like it would keep hot food hot for a while, but when I got home all of the food was barely warm, clearly not fresh at all. They didn’t even make our burrito right. The worst part is I called them because it was so disappointing to wait that long and get obviously not fresh food, and they said because I didn’t call straight away they weren’t gonna do anything about it. I even still had the food. 🙁

First time visiting and probably the last. Ordered dinner to go which consisted of a side of beans, chips and salsa, Sopapilla. Over a half hour later of waiting for just for that, beans were cold, it was almost an ice cream scoops worth of the beans, chips were greasy and the Sopapilla was not tasty. Decent looking on the inside and decorated nicely, just not thrilled with the food and service. Would not recommend ordering to go!
