I’ve been to Mi Pueblo many times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is as authentic as it can be in Florida. Staff is great. Food is consistently good. It can get crowded during high season but the wait is always reasonable and the bar is fun to wait at. The mariachi band I believe is only there on Wednesday, which I’m sure brings an extra crowd because they sound great if you’re not worried about the mariachi band then go any other day to avoid this.

My friend and I were in the mood for Mexican food so we decided to try Mi Pueblo. We waited 30 minutes because it was a busy night. The Fundida was the best I’ve ever had. I’m not a huge fan of chorizo but I do like Fundida. This chorizo was seasoned differently and I loved it. There was enough for two meals and it reheated at home well.

We went twice this week! Technically 3 times… my husband and I ordered fajitas to go on our way home from the beach one night and they were so good we said we need to go into the restaurant and eat. So a few nights later we sat down for dinner, it was Wednesday night and we were pleasantly surprised by a live mariachi band as we ate, the food was amazing once again. Then the weekend came and we had family in town visiting so we took them there. This time we sat outside and the courtyard was so beautiful! This place is just awesome inside and out!

Mi Pueblo is super popular. You can’t make a reservation unless you have six and more people so sometimes you wait 45 minutes or an hour and it is very loud in there so it’s fun but you need to be in a party mode not a relaxing mode to go to really enjoy it and food is good and we just get the three options where you get three pick three and then split it and it’s plenty, especially with the chips

Absolutely great experience. Food, service. Clean, nicely decorated.
Had the chicken burrito. So delicious huge portion. Chips & salsa unlimited. Must of had 4 different staff members check on us to ensure we did not need anything.
Highly recommended

Mi Pueblo Restaurant was such a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with colorful décor that immediately gives you a taste of authentic Latin charm.

The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the perfectly seasoned tacos to the savory enchiladas. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation made each meal feel special.

What really stood out was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had an enjoyable meal. It felt like dining with family rather than just at a restaurant.

Overall, Mi Pueblo Restaurant is a must-visit in Venice for anyone craving authentic, tasty Latin cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We were just passing by and wanted to have a drink and see if it was a restaurant we liked.

We sat at the bar, which was designed in an old-fashioned style, like an iron cage above our heads, or an iron hat above our heads. It felt very depressing…

Going to a restaurant to eat or a bar to have a drink… Anyway, I think it’s for relaxation. Maybe some people like this style.

Awesome little Mexican restaurant. Staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered to go and had a margarita while we waited. Margarita was great. The food was neatly pack in boxes and bags and very tasty. Salsa was excellent. The food smelled so good I forgot to take pictures when I got home. They also have a nice outside area as well.

Hold on to your sombreros, amigos, because I’ve stumbled upon what could very well be the crème de la crème of Mexican eateries in the Sunshine State! Prepare to be transported to a fiesta of flavors and fun.

First off, let’s talk ambiance. This place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Picture this: Wednesday night, you’re nestled in, and the Tampa Mariachi Band serenades each table with their vibrant tunes. Talk about creating a night to remember!

Then…bam…those complimentary chips and salsa arrive. Fresh, flavorful, and utterly addictive, these crispy delights are a culinary minefield. Seriously, pace yourselves, people! They’re that good, and you don’t want to ruin your appetite before the main event. Trust me on this.

Now, for the star of the show: my dinner. I opted for the “Pick Three” combo – a tantalizing trio of a tamale, Suiza enchilada, and a chimichanga. Each one was a masterpiece, a symphony of spices and textures that danced on my palate. Seriously, they were all phenomenal! Trying to choose a favorite? Forget about it! It was an impossible task. They are extremely good!

Honestly, I suspect everything on the menu here is pure gold. I’m practically obligated to return and put that theory to the test! Consider this restaurant my new go-to spot in Venice – the quest for the perfect Mexican meal is officially over!
