I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see how big the place is! Our server was sweet, and the restaurant looked clean. Our food was pretty good and the prices seemed fair. My peach daiquiri was yummy! We keep looking for the quality Mexican food we had when we lived in Phoenix, and honestly, nothing yet has quite measured up. Still, this was decent food and nice sized portions. I think I’m just jaded. The service was good and efficient. Go give it a try!

Food good, service not quite. Bathroom had buckets up water and it was completely wet all over the floor. Overflowing no out of order sign. Server charged us for a dinner enchilada even after I said it only came with 2 instead of lunch and I got charged. Manager apologized but ended up feeling blamed for the mistake instead.

My friend recommended this Mexican restaurant and I’m so glad we went. All our favorites have gone down hill. It takes us 25 minutes to get here but it’s well worth it. As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. Our waitress, Daniela, was wonderful! The food was delicious and hot.

We have eaten here several times and we have always been very pleased with the service and the food. They have really good chips and salsa. You can taste the tequila in their margaritas. Their food is always great and really fresh. On this visit my wife had the grilled shrimp salad and it was awesome, the shrimp were grilled to perfection. My son had the Pineapple fajitas and he loved it and it came out in half a pineapple. I just had the chicken chimichanga and it was really good. They also have some awesome charizo dip.We highly recommend MI Pueblo #9.

I was invited to dine here by my sister Tuesday October 14, 2025 around 6pm. We missed the 5:30 happy hour. It was 2 of us. Our waiter was Johnathan. I described to Johnathan what i wanted because I didn’t see it on the menu. (Steak, chicken, shrimp & veggies over rice covered with cheese.) We ordered a medium guacamole chunky & medium cheese. 2 jumbo margaritas. The guacamole took a minute to come out but Johnathan brought my entrée actually as I ordered. No problems. Food was delicious & drinks were great. Thabk you Johnathan So, I decided to return with my other sister because the food & drinks were great today, October 17th about 4:51pm. Our waiter was Roberto. So we asked about happy hour. He showed us the 3 margaritas for $1.99 with a full entree. I also describe the same meal I wanted just like above when ordering with Johnathan. He brought my entrée out with not 1 veggie on the dish. I said this isn’t what I asked for. I ended up waiting on the veggies to be cooked which made my food a luke warm waiting on my veggies. Then, when you order for happy hour, you have to order before the time. So I specifically said i want the 3 margaritas for $1.99 with the full entree. In my mind i’ve specifically made my order before 5:30. Roberto never specified you must ask for your 3rd 1 b4 5:30. I asked for all 3 at 5. We drank 1, then asked for the 2nd margarita. Roberto then says I have to wait til the bartender prepares them. This takes our time away. Okay, so i’m thinking no problem but i’ve already told him I wanted the 3. Again he finally brings the 2nd & still didn’t specify you must request your 3rd drink b4 5:30 nor did he say it’s last call b4 5:30. Would you all like your 3rd drink?. So at 5:36 i asked fir the 3rd margarita only to be told, oh it’s not $1.99 for happy hour. Total miss communication!!! Then I was trying to explain my thought process of ordering before 5:30 for him to be sarcastic & say I don’t make the rules. Haven’t you been here before right? Your waiter should treat a customer as if it’s their first time every single time. I said what does that mean? I”ve never been during happy hour! Every restaurant has their own happy hour rules. He really frustrated me. The restaurant was not crowded at all. He proceeds to tell us it’s a 2 for1 until 6 after we have finish dining. Go figure! I have had 4 family members to visit since Tuesday because I raved about the food, atmosphere, drinks & all. After today’s experience i’m not sure if I want to visit again along with changing my rave review with my family & friends. I have been a waitress & the communication should be better. Tell your customers about the specials before they order & be specific. We still tipped him after the sarcasm

In my top two favorite Mexican restaurants. Food is always hot, by far the best attentive service without feeling like they are hovering over you. Drinks that actually have alcohol in them. This spot has never let me down in all our visits even when they’ve been packed or their printer was down. They let you know by communicating what the hold up was and thanked you for your patience. If only I could give more than 5 stars I would.
