Pueblito Mexican Restaurant is a family owned and operated business and has been serving the Chico and Durham areas since 2005. The story started with a food truck California Tacos. In 2016 Pueblito in Durham opened it’s doors with a tremendous support and love from the community, later in 2020 Pueblito opened their second location in Chico. The Plascencia family is pleased to offer their customers the best Mexican food and invite you to visit any of their establishments for a unique experience and authentic flavors.

I was on a mission for steak fajitas and a strawberry margarita. Mission accomplished. Great service, margarita hot the spot and the fajitas were good. A little dry but not bad. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, Mexican themed with comfortable tables. Good date spot.

My mom brought home half a burrito and even though it was reheated this was the most amazing burrito I’ve ever had. This burrito was out of this world, I didnt know a burrito be both comically huge and heavenly.

Went with a few friends and it was an enjoyable experience. They were a little understaffed for how busy it was, but on a night before a holiday it was understandable. Even still we got our orders taken in a reasonable amount of time, drinks were refilled regularly, and the food was good. Would recommend if you are passing through and looking for a good place to eat.

Food was amazing! Had the carnitas burrito and soup. Burrito was huge, enough for two meals. Haven’t been here in a while and the service was great! Our server was prompt and made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t remember her name but she had red hair.
The only downside is since I dined in I had to listen to christian music the entire time. I get during the Christmas season, but that’s over and it honestly ruins the ambiance of a solid Mexican restaurant. Probably won’t dine in again if that’s what they continue to play.
