We came in with a party of 7 and had such a great experience at Mi Pueblito! The food was authentic and absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful, and everyone was so friendly. They even took the time to chat with us and ask where we were from. My kids loved it too! We know where to stop when we come through Caldwell again!

This place is just friendly. The food is not too spicy and kind of bland. It’s kind of what you would expect in a very low budget Mexican food place where kindness is the champion. I would definitely go back there and just enjoy them.

Let me start with that this restaurant is quaint and small, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying their food. That is because it is the best Mexican food I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying, and I’ve gone to many Mexican restaurants across this huge country. The chips are the right thickness where they’re not too thin that they break in the sauce or too thick where you struggle to chew them. Just right. Then the sauce is perfect as well. It’s the right consistency. It’s not too thin, not too thick. It’s just right. Not only that, but the sauce doesn’t have too much cilantro and it’s perfectly blended so you don’t have huge onion chunks. It just blends very well both in taste and consistency. Now I ordered a California burrito with steak, and it was so good I practically inhaled it. Perfectly seasoned. The rice and beans paired very well with the steak, which was very flavorful and not bland how you come across other places. I see why so many locals come here, and it’s not a fluke either. If you want the best Mexican food you’ve ever tasted, come here. You won’t regret it. Prices are reasonable, and the service was good, and they do take out if you don’t want to dine in. Now, after reading this, if you’re still not convinced, that’s your problem. What I can tell you is I’ll certainly be back.

This place was really good! The chips and sauce are good and they have hot sauce at the table if it isn’t quite hot enough for you. All of the food that our group ate was delicious and well prepared. Generous servings for a really fair price.
