One of our favorite places to eat in our small town. Family owned, small little place. Atmosphere is nice and peaceful. Feels like home. Food is fantastic, fresh and consistent. Service is great as well. If we want Mexican, this is where we go.

Ordered 10 chicken soft tacos an drove 30 minutes there and back only to find out it was the beef instead of chicken soft tacos we call and they say they are making the chicken ones that we originally ordered so we drive another 30 minutes there and they tried charging us again so we told them they had lost there mind so definitely don’t eat at this establishment…

Used online order for 2 mexican burritos, which appeared to be the only burritos not covered in something..no customization was offered via the on line system, couldn’t choose which meat or sides to add. So I ordered the sides to the tune of 8 dollars per . The only customization option was a notes section in which I explained that the sides should be rolled into each , nothing crazy, cheese, sourcream, salsa etc. This was not done or glanced at apparently. I now have 2 ea of 2 oz portions of each side I ordered. OK, been here before I can unroll and add the sides then re roll….not so fast they cut each in half. Difficult at best to try and add to half a . Overall food better than expected for this part of the country, steak was decent quality and seasoned, chicken was very salty and it’s hard to over salt something with so many flavors and textures.

I ordered the lunch portion of Alambres and added two fried eggs on top. With refried beans, salsa and hot sauce from the table it was amazing! I can normally put down two dinner entrees in a sitting and struggle to be satisfied with the lunch menu, but this was JUST RIGHT for a big eater for lunch. The service was prompt and courteous. From the time I stepped out of my car to the time I got back to my car was almost exactly 30 minutes, and I had time to actually enjoy my meal, and ask the hostess about the menu items I missed out on. I’m a little sad that I only got to try one dish! I’ll definitely make an effort to come back and try more next time.
