Absolutely Amazing Experience!
This meal was outstanding from start to finish. The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented — every bite was comforting, fresh, and clearly made with care. The hacienda dip was addictively good, rich and perfectly seasoned, and the margaritas were refreshing, well-balanced, and generously poured . You can tell they take pride in their drinks just as much as their food.
Beyond the food, the staff truly made the experience special. Everyone was so personable, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and vibrant, with great music that added to the overall vibe without being too loud.
This is the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering at the table, enjoying good conversation, great food, and excellent service. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food, fantastic margaritas, and a warm, upbeat environment — this spot absolutely delivers. Can’t wait to come back! ✨

First diner and our dishes were outstanding. Hearty portions, tasty cuisine, and attentive servers and staff. Now, Mi Pequena Hacienda is our go to Mexican restaurant in Lex.

Paid over $10 for 2 orders of queso (which in the restaurant would have gotten us a large bowl of queso) with our pick up order and this is what we got….. 2 2oz cups of queso!!!!! I also ordered the beef chimichanga and paid for the dinner chimichanga that in restaurant comes with 2 chimichangas, instead I got ONE slightly bigger chimichanga. Anyone thinking about ordering pickup BEWARE!!! Don’t waste your money

We love the Lansdowne location. Food is creative and exceptional. Staff is friendly and hard working. Love the Surf & Turf Tacos!! I could eat their salsa 24/7. Probably the best in Lexington. Lots of parking. Perfect for lunch because they serve a complimentary soup and the food comes out hot and fast. So many good entrées

We came for the lunch special $9.99 rice and beans with choice of tacos, burrito, or enchilada. The burrito was the size of a flauta and same size as the enchilada. Only 1 enchilada. Not a lot of food. Had to ask if it was correct because it was so small. I’ve never had a burrito the size of my finger before! Why so small? Only little meat, bean, and rice inside. Economy bad. I wish the size was not so small. Soup delicious.

We went to this restaurant for my husband’s birthday and was very excited. The food is soooo good. Service however was less than desired. We had a party of 10. We ordered and the waitress brought drinks but forgot the alcohol orders. Once food was brought out we asked about our drinks. The waitress apologized then walked away. We thought she was going to get the drinks but she didn’t come back for another 10 mins. We asked about the drinks and she said sorry again and finally got them.
2 people in our group ordered the taco salad and both people stated the shell had a funny taste to it. The waitress offered to redo the plates but everything was taking so slow they declined and ate just the inside of the taco salad.
Food was great as always.
The restaurant automatically adds large party tip to each of the bills. We wanted to pay to be the one to tip not everyone attending the party. However the manager said he was unable to remove the extra added tip from each bill. I then had to cash app each person. That was an inconvenience.

So happy to find this place!!! Hands down BEST Mexican restaurant we have ever eaten! Their shrimp cocktail is off the charts. So far everything has been so delicious and very flavorful. Nothing bland here . We love it!!! The only thing I wish was that the waiters did a better job coming back to the table to refill drinks quicker (very spicy food I need a lot of water LOL.
