Just moved here so I’m a first timer here. I looked at the menu online and it was pretty extensive, so that was encouraging.
I wanted to try a few things, so I ordered a house margarita, the queso fundido, and the quesadilla especial with chicken and mushrooms.
I received the drink and five minutes later, the queso comes out, then another five minutes later the quesadilla shows up.
The queso was clearly just microwaved cheese with some chorizo thrown in. The chorizo was not flavorful at all and the cheese was weirdly runny. See video.
The quesadilla was not served the traditional way. It was served like a huge taco. , and it came with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. It was just ok.
The margarita was good. I did see a bartender making a drink and then fishing around in it and taking stuff out of it?? Weird.
Service was fine.
Not sure I’d go again. It’s not traditional Mexican food, which is what I was looking for.

We come here multiple times a week. Have tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. Every meal on their menu is worth it. The service is always amazing. It’s quick and prices are great. Their salsa is always amazing. It’s the best Mexican restaurant around!

I’ve always liked Mi Patrón’s delicious well seasoned food in other locations around town, and this location is excellent for its food, service and spacious dining room and private dining room. Our food was fresh, hot and tasty. Our server was attentive and professional. Fair prices, wonderful food, good portions. We will be back!

My FAVORITE restaurant in all of Lynchburg and has one my favorite dishes across the entire country – pineapple fajitas! For starters this one of the Mí patrons that me and my wife like going too, well that came to a changing point tonight of all nights on a Valentine’s Day that ruined our night! Of course me and the wife already had in mind what we wanted to drink and eat for the evening, so we ordered our drinks which were jumbo margaritas. Upon waiting for our drinks they brought us Chip’s and salsa only for my very first bite of a chip and salsa to have hair end up in my mouth. So i politely without causing a sense went to the older gentleman at the front and explained what had just happened. He was very apologetic even tho he touched the hair that came outta my mouth with his bare hands with Chips dangling from the end . The server did bring more chips and salsa but at this point my wife was upset and disappointed and we both had lost our appetite. Having someone else’s DNA invade your mouth is disgusting. So we lost our appetite and decided not to eat and just had margaritas instead and settled for turkey sandwiches at home ♂️. And the sad part is we enjoy eating there but my wife said we are no longer going back to this mí patron. And by us both having experience working in food services we truly recommend staff to wear hair net to prevent such occurrences. & Buy the way no one is perfect it’s just a sore eye and bad taste for a customer.

I tried the bowl with carnitas and it was good, a good amount of carnitas that was good but I have eaten it with better flavor. I would have added avocado to complement my taste, but it had rice with cilantro, black beans, corn, cheese, and lettuce. It had everything, but they charged us for the green sauce which should have been a complementary condiment. My husband had a tropical burrito and he loved it, the refried beans were very good and so was the rice. The chips and salsa were good…

Tonight my husband and I came to have dinner for Valentine’s Day, and my husband was eating the chips & salsa and once he ate it he pulled a long piece of black hair out of his mouth!!! He went straight to the older guy at the front register and explained what had happened, he apologized and brought more damn chips from the same bin and salsa! The mood was already ruined! Why bring us more chips? Valentines Day dinner was ruined!!! STAFF NEED TO WEAR HAIR NETS!!! I work in food service and that first priority when dealing with other people’s food!!!!Yes the older man apologized but we will not be coming back to this location at all!!!!!!!! I’m beyond disappointed!!!!!
