I came to this restaurant with my family as someone who has been supporting this business for more than 6 years. On 11/16/25 I came more than an hour to eat here because it isnt close to us, and had the most terrible experience I would’ve never imagined to happen. We had ordered a full pollo la brasa, salchipapa and pescado frito. The issue started when we received our plates and utensils. As I took out the knife and fork from the napkin I wiped them and Im cleaning them I notice a brown spot on my fork I imagined it was food and I look closer to see its a roach that was stuck and smushed onto the knife. I immediately notified the waitress and to speak with the owner. Manuel the store owner came an denied it being a bug and kept saying how he pays a lot of money and gasses the place. Mind you this is not the first time there is a roach and rat seen in this restaurant. I have gave hope to this restaurant and the owner did absolutely nothing or apologize for that issue and I got plastic utensils. We had never received our order of fries and pescado frito while waiting half an hour to be told there isnt any fish. The lights in one of the restrooms doesnt work making it unable to see, and near the restroom across is a leaky roof that can pose a risk to the safety of the food being right next to the kitchen. As I left I notified the waitress that I am filing a report and she ignored me. As we were leaving the owner proceeded to take pictures and videos of my mothers license and vehicle. We immediately stepped out and asked that was unnecessary the waitresses were being disrespectful to my mother when she expressed concern over how the service and the quality was this time we ate here. I do not condone that and the waitress said that I’m an “insolent liar” and I “purposely put the roach on the utensils”. The owner called the authority since he felt “threatened “when his own employee was being hostile to our family. After speaking with the sheriff and having wasted his time I see how bad of a restaurant this is, I hope they inspect this place better for the sake of the other people who decide to eat here. Very disappointing after being a customer for several years, an apology and acknowledgment with better cleaning would’ve been appreciated rather than that.

Super disappointed with the service of today, after having been there with my boyfriend in the past and having seen a rat go inside the kitchen.The cashiers are rude as hell, and in the past have asked us to leave earlier because they had a party. Whenever we go they always give us nasty looks, and roll their eyes at us. I even get scared that they’ll spit in our food. The owner also called the cops on us and begged the officer to arrest us just because we wanted to file a report against him to the health department against him, especially because I got nasty diarrhea after eating there today, I won’t be coming back here anymore so yeah.

100/100 definitely recommend this place. It’s the closest to authentic home cooked Peruvian cuisine. Love the atmosphere and the service. The owners are really generous and friendly. A must try!

This place has the best food! I ordered the spinach noodles with steak. It was truly delicious. Because I am one of those weird people who likes everything separate, I asked for the noodles to be cooked plain, with the sauce on the side, and they were very accommodating. The steak I ordered medium rare, and it was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is very close to my home, I can either eat in or order to go.

My family has been eating at this restaurant for 12 years +, through different management and I’m saddened that the customer service has plummeted. The waitress/cashier (light skinned blonde) lady is so rude and has no basic common sense around customer service. They never used to charge extra for some more salsa when you made a big order. They’re so stingy now, and want to charge you extra for every little thing. I’m not sure if that lady discriminates but she’s always been very rude to my family and I.
