This used to be one of our favorite places in town. In the last 1.5 years we have noticed the waitstaff isn’t great. Not a deal breaker. Friday 4 of us ordered meals plus a large bowl of queso. Waitress allowed 2 baskets of chips and 1 container of salsa. Anything additional would be additional charge…really? She said since Covid, which is laughable cause we had never seen her before and been going there for 7+years. Food was ok with some of it barely warm. Had to ask for silverware when we got our meals (not the first time this has happened). Frankly, it’s just not worth it with poor service, limited chips and salsa, mediocre food and portion size. Sadly we wont be returning

My wife’s family lives in Fort Wayne and we always love coming here. It is one of the best mexican places you’ll find in the area, and if you’re looking for birria tacos, you’ll find QUALITY ones at Mi Parrilla. The restaurant is very well-decorated and is clean for the most part. The only knock I have is that the space can be a little tight with the amount of tables, so it isn’t extremely comfortable, and the service is just decent. If you don’t care about those things, and just want solid food, this place is definitely a 5-star.

The food was very good but the servers spent a bit too much time on their phones rather than asking if we cared for refills or desserts or for boxes to take home leftovers. We finally decided we did not have time to order desserts. When I attempted to pay, their system decided on a tip amount without any input from me. He offered to give me back my tip in cash because he said I was angry. I had merely told others in my group to be aware that it may add a tip for them.

From start to finish the customer service was amazing. We ordered take out & waited inside for our order. The young ladies at the front was very helpful at making sure my taco salad with no meat or dairy & added beans & rice was made correctly. The place was small & clean & had a nice vibe about it. This is definitely some of the best Mexican food I had in a while & I travel alot & eat it 4- 5 times a week in different states. The serving size of the food was huge & made with love. The guac was also delicious as well. Fresh lettuce & fine cut tomatoes & top of the line beans & rice. I highly recommend this place you can taste the love in the food. I appreciate great food & good service like this restaurant gives. Good job to the entire team!!

A really nice hidden gem of a restaurant. I took my large family there for lunch one Saturday and we were all extremely impressed. My nephew and his wife moved here from Arizona and she told me that her Carnitas were the best she’s ever had, and they know Mexican food from living in the SW. I had the Huevos con Chorizo, which is rather hard to find on Mexican restaurants in the Fort Wayne area, and it delivered on all fronts. Service was stellar. You couldn’t ask for better service. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable. I normally don’t give 5 stars lightly, but I would say that so far this is probably one of the best and authentic Mexican restaurants in Fort Wayne. We will be back, and back, and back again for sure!

Very good food satisfying and filling. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and professional. It took some time to get our orders but it was a busy Sunday afternoon. Overall it was delicious and worth the price.

Cute little”hole in the wall” place. Server wasn’t very friendly but the service was quick. Carnitas was bland, but the chips and salsa are fire! Great specials on lunch tacos and $2.99 margaritas are regular menu prices, definitely a plus!
