1st time there. Very friendly. I thought he had a very good price for carnitas burrito. Got home. Cut in half. He had double rolled the tortilla (rolling the tortilla halfway before adding meat etc to make it look bigger) so I had a burrito that was fully 1/2 a wad of doughy tortilla throughout the whole burrito. I had to cut half the burrito (doughy junk) out, and scraped the meat rice and beans into a smaller tortilla I have at home. In his defense, I go to several trucks in Chico and find this practice is becoming more and more common as costs for the vendors skyrocket, and they have to use smaller portions to stay in business. That said, what carnitas were there very very good. I will try again and get his tacos instead.

This place has my favorite Mexican food in the area. It only loses a star because their business hours don’t match the big sign in front of the parking lot (close at 6pm Monday through Saturday). I’m not sure if they close early on slow days or have completely different hours, but I pulled up at 3:30 and they were already closed.

I gave my friend money to buy us dinner. I couldn’t believe that they charged us $12 for a vegetarian torta! My small burrito was $11.50 & it was extremely greasy! This place charges too much & the food isn’t very good! I can buy a bigger burrito at most other places for $7.50-$8 & no grease! I won’t be going to this place again!

Ordered pozole, mulita, a burrito, and tacos. Lengua and chorizo are delicious. Customer service is great and they hooked us up on jalapenos, salsa and extra carrots. Authentic food that reminded me of my hometown. Definitely the best in Paradise/Magalia area; great prices too!! I highly recommend them!

We’ve been here several times. We had the carne asada tacos each time. They were fantastic, very reasonably priced and the service was great. There’s also some tables to sit at.

Large menu to choose from. They have cow tongue as a meat option. My favorite thing to get is fish tacos, they are the best around. Not expensive. Very fast if there is not a large line. There is usually a large line at noon, this place is the go to for a lot of people for lunch. When you eat here you will find out why. Lots of picnic tables to sit and eat under a shade structure. There is even a porta-potty (not right next to where you eat, thankfully, but a close walk) to go to the bathroom
