08/07/2025; Went around 5:30pm to try this place out and I have to say im SO GLAD I DID! The food was super fresh and yummy! I was a little hesitant on the price for the single tacos but theyre loaded up overfull with meat and all the good stuff so I was happy with it after only 1 bite! 10/10 ill be back!

I love this taco truck. Im from California and used to live in San Fernando Valley and i really miss the street tacos i would get there because they’re authentic and made with love. Mi Montañita Tacos is the most authentic in all of Waynesville and if you want a real experience, this is the truck to go to. The meat is always perfect and tender, especially the lengua. If you like REAL mexican food, this place is a must. If i could eat here daily, i would be here for lunch and dinner every single day. Its my favorite taco truck in the whole state of North Carolina

Happened on this joint v randomly and decided to order the al pastor tacos. They were SO good. I was blown away by how beautifully seasoned the meat was and the sauce it was cooked in was SO tangy bright. Tortillas were dank as well. Worth the trip from Asheville if you want very legit tacos from a super sweet small biz!
