Excellent service and great food/drinks at this authentic Mexican restaurant. We kind of stumbled here, at night, and are so glad we did. The owner, Edgar, made our drinks, and we joked, that he made them with love. Our waitress, Ali, was kind and funny and they both created a wonderful dining experience while sitting at the bar. The food was large portions and the street corn welllllll was amazing!!! We will definitely be back. And will for sure tell others.

We’re lucky to have this restaurant here. I had the mojarra with fresh slices of fruit and guacamole salad. The presentation was fantastic and the fish was delicious. AND you can get menudo and not wait for the weekend. The owners check in with a ready smile and offer recommendations based on your comments.

Customization: As a vegan, I often need to modify my order, and they are so accommodating! They never make a face or act like it’s a hassle. They go above and beyond to make sure my meal is exactly how I want it—especially when I ask for extra spice!
Freshness & Taste: You can tell they use fresh ingredients and don’t just serve frozen, pre-made food. I recently had their fried veggies, and they were delicious and so filling. Plus, their salsa and chips are fresh and have a great kick.
Healthy Options: It feels good to eat here because the food is high-quality and fresh, which is great for your health.
I highly recommend Mi Mexico to anyone, especially if you have specific dietary needs. It’s easily one of my favorite restaurants to go to whenever I’m hungry!

Stop in at Mi Mexico Restaurant based on reviews. It was rated a 4.8 and I have to say we found a jewel in this restaurant. The menu had all the standard food but it also has some unique items in how they fix the food. I had a fajita steak taco salad, it was really good. Different in how it was put together and much better than at other restaurants. My wife had some type of quesadilla. The restaurant is owned and operated by a young married couple and the Sala and many other items are custom made by her. Go try them out I think you will really enjoy their food

We wanted to go to a place that offered authentic Mexican food and not the run-of-the-mill franchise offerings… Mi Mexico did not disappoint! The food was great, and the customer service was so refreshing. It was evident that the staff viewed themselves as a team because we were constantly asked by team members aside from our attendant if we were ok. Despite it being our first time there, as soon as we walked in the door, we felt like we were in a welcoming place. The lively atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices, and sincere customer service have prompted us to make this one of our top places to go in and around Columbus. We most definitely will return and will also tell family and friends to patronize Mi Mexico as well; it’s worth the effort to dine there!

Overall, staff was very welcoming and friendly. However, the food was alright. Im not a Mexican, but had privilege of having many Mexican friends who always showed me around what and how authentic Mexican foods should be. If you are hungry and running late, this place stays open later than other places.

We stopped in while visiting town for a turning green ceremony and we were so glad we did. The restaurant is very clean, the service was fast and friendly, and the pricing is very reasonable with large portions. We love Mexican food and this was definitely flavorful and authentic. The owners were very friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend it.
