Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Jersey City. I’m from west Texas, so I’d say I have fairly high standards when it comes to Mexican food. I’ve been here several times and this place is top notch. The owner is very friendly and they have tons of options. I think this is Oaxacan-based cuisine so expect to find classics alongside more popular dishes. Try the tostadas with Cecina. You’ll be amazed.

This place only has 6 reviews on Google right now and it doesn’t appear to be on any meal delivery app (yet). Don’t discount it — this is a great spot for authentic Mexican food and in my opinion, it’s better than Taqueria downtown, although they’re affiliated.
We chose this place because the first location of Mi Mirachi apparently has the best tacos in Jersey. Haven’t tried the original location but this place was quite good.
Really enjoyed the chorizo quesadilla, spicy pork tacos and guac and chips. It is heavy though and the portions are bigger than you’d expect. All the food we ordered came to $36 and delivery was free (delivered within 40 mins as promised too). This will last the two of us at least two meals. Will definitely return.

We were around the area and decided to walk in here. The food is legit. Everything I ordered was tasty and the service was awesome. Everyone was super nice to us and the food came quick enough. If you’re looking for Mexican food, I’d definitely recommend this place.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant recently and we were very happy with our order. We picked from the few vegetarian options that we found on the menu (also something unique that we hadn’t tasted before) – memelas and Chiles rollenos. Both dishes tasted top notch and the portion sizes were just right for the two of us.
