A small family place a friend told me about. I have been here twice for their amazing soup. I asked for some items to not come with it and my request were followed. Can’t wait to go back in a few days. First restaurant I have been to with fresh tortilla chips also.

I went there with my family tonight. It was my first and last time going. The food was okay, but while we were eating my daughter looked up and said “what’s that?! Is that a bug?!” And when I looked over it was a freaking ROACH crawling on the wall right next to me and our table full of food. I was disgusting and we left right away. I will NOT be back!!! As I said the food was okay, but having a roach crawling on the wall that I’m pretty much touching with my shoulder was NOT OKAY!!! By time I got the picture it was up the wall and on the picture above me!

I tried this little, unassuming place for the first time tonight, and it was delicious! Everything is authentic and fresh. I had shrimp fajitas and even the tortillas were homemade. This place is the real deal! So glad I found it.

I really liked the flavor of the pinto beans, it reminded me of the way my aunt used to make it in hollister, california.. i asked for extra cheese inside of the burrito and it was not melted, i was kind of bummed about that But the flavor of the pastor was pretty good.. i wasn’t a fan of their chips but I did like their salsa. It was a little runny, but good flavored. The rice had good texture but didn’t have a lot of flavor.. overall, I left feeling pretty good.

This is our 2nd time visiting Mi Lindo in the last week and there is obviously a reason why we returned – IT’S DELICIOUS!!! The service: super friendly, helpful and quick! The options are so much better than what you get in those franchised Mexican restaurants. This is AUTHENTIC. The empanadas are so light and crispy, same with the sopes! The tacos are hands down the best street tacos I’ve had in the city. We also got tamales, regular and wrapped in banana leaf – chefs kiss!! Perfect ratio of meat to masa. The salsa is some of the freshest you’ll find! You HAVE to give them a try – we tried the whole fried fish, burritos and every empanada and taco option in our 2 visits. Check em out!

Delicious!
These were some good tacos! I ordered two carne asada and two pastor. They came out to the table quickly…hot and ready to eat. The pastor, in this case, was the star of the basket. Very tasty…juicy and full of flavor.
My only complaint is that they charge for chips and salsa, which differs from other places in town. But that won’t keep me from coming back for more.
01-23-2025 Update: Get the Chilaquiles with two runny eggs and the green sauce…you certainly won’t be disappointed.
Good stuff at Mi Lindo Veracruz!

Family owned restaurant on Madison St. near the court house. It’s a green building right after lowe’s on the same side as the court house. Best mexican food in town. Their carne asada is a bit dry, but other than that, their pastor and barbaccoa are on point. The prices are not bad and that wait, no matter how big the order usually takes 10 mins. They are open from 9am-9pm, wheelchair accesible, and the parking isn’t huge. They have great tamales and awesome birria.

Authentic. Legit authentic. It’s a rarity anymore so when it’s found, it should always be celebrated! Everything is so fresh & flavorful. Lunch is super busy, but it’s less hectic at dinner. I’ve had both experiences. Parking is easy. Family owned and operated. Customer service with genuine caring. Tamales are seasoned perfectly! No bells and whistles here — just really great food!

Rafael and his family are putting out some of the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had, including in Mexico.
Although it would be nice to have a margarita, Paloma or Pacifico with my meal, the food was so exceptional, I didn’t mind.
One of the few places where the the food actually lives up to the pictures on the menu.
I love the tapas style, but also the fact that they have entrée platters and soups.
I had the pollo con salsa beef tamale, a asada burrito & beans. Straight Pro tip…drizzle more verde, some roja & queso on the tamale. Some of the best seasoned steak I’ve ever had in a burrito.
Do not miss the Pollo empanada. I’ve had a lot of empanadas at different places on the globe. Primarily Texas, Central America, and the Caribbean. These are hands-down, the best I’ve ever had. Yes, I mean it. Can’t wait to run through them all next time.
Bonus Mexican candy store on the way out is a brilliant idea. We will be back next month. This food is prepared with love.

This is not a cookie cutter mexican restaurant. The food is ultra fresh and delicious. The flavors are not overwhelming, but complimentary. I could get by w the beans and rice w pico, lettuce, avacado and tomato. I had the torta w the marinated pork. A mexican sandwich but very flavorful. Very filling. My wife had the empanadas, cheese and chicken. So fresh. So flavorful. I would tell everyone to come and get some of the best Mexican dishes in Clarksville!
Oh. And great sweet tea! 🙂
