Today was the first time visiting and did take out. Was craving Cocido on this cloudy rainy day. It was delish. After all these years being around that specific area, I never knew it was there. Found it on Google. Owner was very sweet and personable. Helped me with my bags to my car. Definitely visiting again real soon.

My wife and I like to travel to different cites around and outside of L.A. to try out different style of cuisine and feel the flavor and the taste of the enthic cuisine. We headed to Boyle Heights were you can find best Mexican food around and also the history. We decided tryout this restaurant called MI Lindo Guanajuato its on the corner of Indiana and 1st short distance from Gold Metro. This our first time at the restaurant and having breakfast we were greeted by owners of the restaurant they very friendly we got seated anywhere. The restaurant is small but it have five tables but I heard the food is really good.
They pass out the menu then we were looking at it to see what to order. My wife decided order pozole because she haven’t have pozole for a while. The pozole comes with tostada and ralish,onion and shredded lettuce. I decided to order Menudo it come with onion,lime,cilantro plus it come with hand made fresh flour tortillas Everything is made from scratch daily. They brought the pozole and Menudo.
We decided add the fresh condiments that comes with pozole and Menudo. My Menudo was incredible good it have tripe and other meat they use in traditional Menudo. I add lime,onion and cilantro it more flavor in the Menudo and I use the fresh made flour tortillas they were so good.

We were in the area and looking for Mexican restaurant and we found this little restaurant and gave it a try and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS! We are an hour away but definitely we’ll be coming back. Service was great they were very attentive and we got our food pretty fast. The food was great we got pozole, tacos, carne asada fries, torta, enchiladas and chicken quesadilla. Place is a little small but it was not crowded so we were comfortable. My kids finished everything. The aguas frescas are delicious too. We were not disappointed at all. We do recommend to give it a try.

Tried food from their truck and it’s so amazing. Got Birria ramen, The consume was so rich and brothy. The meat was so flavorful and large-portioned. The part that was lacking was the amount of ramen and how al-dente it was but honestly? Not mad about that at all. And the Birria nachos were LOADED!
