Dined on a Wednesday evening. Service was slow because of inexperienced waitress. (She was new & did her best). We were there to visit with family, so this was acceptable. The food was hot & very tasty. Would eat there again because in the end it’s all about the food. “Ya Gotta Eat Here!”

Off the beaten path, this Mexican restaurant was a gem. Food was delicious and lots of it. The waitress was so friendly and checked on us frequently to make sure our cups were full. We loved every minute of this place. Highly recommend.

I do have one complaint/suggestion. You need to hire more help. The 1 waitress was waiting tables, bussing tables, helping make mixed drinks, answering the phone and taking orders, taking care of to go orders, seating customers when they came, and putting up with one guy that was being rude to her.
It was obvious you were making enough money to have another staff there to help her.
I will go back but if the staff situation is the same I will be calling folks to complain.

A generous 2 stars… We stopped on our way to Chicago. The waitress was nice but the food was sub par. The refried beans were grey and disgusting. The rice tasted like it had been reheated several times. My kid ordered nachos and was sick all evening. The rest of our order was bland. While we were in there, a group came in at 12:45… they wanted lunch but were turned away because they close from 1-4, which wasn’t posted anywhere, and it wasn’t even 1.
