Was in town recently visiting friends and I’m glad we hit this place up for lunch. It was my first time trying a crispy noodle dish and it was on point! The presentation looks like a chaotic mashup but all the flavors come together nicely.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the DMV. I’ve had at least half the menu over the years and everything has always been on-point. Pho is great, good portions, and delicious broth. There’s not a bad choice on the menu. Service is excellent. Parking can be a bit challenging on weekends, but there’s a city lot a block away if the parking out front is full. They have limited beer and wine but no hard liquor. If you like Vietnamese food, you will love Mi La Cay.

The pho was delicious! Broth was rich and flavorful, small had plenty of noodles and I didn’t need to order extra. Thai tea was sweet but not overly so. Summer rolls were fresh and light. The spicy sauce is definitely spicy, so beware of it if you’re not used to it. As a spice lover, I really only needed to use half to get the kick I needed. Will definitely return!

The food was SO delicious. I purposely kept enough for dinner later that day. I asked advice on getting something spicy and the server offered to have the spicy add in put on the side. Good thing I did because 1/2 of it was more than enough for me Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Delicious food! I especially loved the pan fried noodles. It came out piping hot and the noodles were still nice and crispy. The wait wasn’t long at all and was an overall wonderful experience.

One of the best pho places around. Just simple, good pho with very reasonable portions in a no frills setting.
