Max the owner was great. She explained her menu and gave us some great suggestions. We had Beef Raman and a few sushi rolls. Everything was fresh, hot and very tasty. Definitely not corporate food, they cooked everything when we ordered it. Great music and conversation with their staff. This is the ‘go to’ spot when traveling through Blythe and it’s just off the I-10 freeway at Lovekin Blvd next to McDonald’s.

Such a nice surprise for the area. Very cozy and inviting, even with only purchasing a pick up order the atmosphere inside made us stop for a moment and really take in and enjoy the space. The small attention to details that tell their own stories were some of my favorite things as well as the artful wallpaper. My partner and I loved the Karaage chicken bowl, as well as the thick and hearty broth from our beef ramen.

We stopped by this new place on our way from Phoenix to Los Angeles. It’s a cozy, atmospheric place! We ordered the beef ramen and baked shrimp roll. It was delicious and not too expensive! I wish this restaurant continued success!

We have been traveling from California and Arizona, and today we drove to this location, as we knew it to be a barbecue restaurant. As we drove by, we noticed it had changed to Japanese cuisine. We decided to try it, and I ordered a Curry Chicken plate. The food was delicious, fresh, and a large portion. I highly recommend the chicken curry for its taste and wholesome cooking. My wife ordered Shrimp Tempura Ramen, and it was delicious as well. It was cooked to the taste of a homemade Ramen. We will definitely come back. The establishment was immaculate, the music was very soothing, and the customer service was exceptional. We want to thank you for your hospitality and the food. Delicious!

With an atmosphere, that truly takes you to another place, and service staff that is beyond kind and attentive, this place has definitely earned my patronage.

One of the things that I would recommend if you have a chance, is the Thai iced tea. It tasted homemade, delicious, and was a refreshing surprise in comparison to other Thai teas I’ve had lately. Usually, they taste either bland, sharp, or later come around overpowered. However, theirs was everything I was looking for.

Although they might have a few more hiccups in these opening days, I would highly suggest you give this place a try.

More importantly, make it a great day! That choice is always yours. Enjoy the rain and stay blessed everyone!

There is a word in some cultures for the flavor, of a food made with care and affection, a food made by hand. This delicious food has that flavor. Mi Kitchen serves very fresh, visually appealing food at very reasonable prices.
I was tickled to see they had seaweed salad (noodle kind), it was delicious, as was the California Crunchy Roll, Tempura Shrimp Roll, and Salmon Nigiri. My guest and I also tried the fizzy drinks, I had peach, he got melon. I will get melon next time. 🙂
Blythe is fortunate to have such a healthy, fresh restaurant in town. I encourage you to try it, if you haven’t yet.
Tell your vegetarian friends they have gunkan you can get with corn, seaweed or ‘sunflower’ (corn and avocado). Something for everyone, first timers to seasoned Japanese food lovers. Thank you, Mi Kitchen!

I was in town on my way to AZ and was in the mood for some Asian food. I was glad that I picked this restaurant. I had the seafood ramen bowl. The appetizer pickled radish reminds me of my hometown. The bone broth was very good. The ramen was just done right being al dente. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who is well-travelled and compassionate about Asian cuisine. I will come back if I am ever in town.

Cute place! Food was good. They made a special order for my son who loves salmon but is too young for uncooked fish. The tankatsu bowl was delicious. The spring rolls were delicious

Wonderful little restaurant! Very clean and welcoming. My husband and I had the beef and seafood ramen, the broth was rich and dynamic. The noodles where tender but held their shape. The additional ingredients perfectly complimented the broth. This was my husbands first time trying authentic ramen and he is in love. We plan to visit each time we pass though town! If you are new to ramen or a ramen lover stop by! The menu is simple and easy to understand and the staff is very helpful! Highest praises from me!
