Amazing Mexican restaurant with a great vibe! The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly cares about his guests. You can tell he puts his heart into the place, and it really shows. He makes you feel more like family than just a customer. The food is delicious, fresh, and authentic. We had an awesome experience and will definitely be coming back!
Thank you guys)))!!!!!

We stopped by Mi Jalisco on a whim recently and were immediately impressed. It wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a calm and relaxed dining experience. We hadn’t visited since before COVID, and it was such a pleasure to see that the restaurant has maintained its charm and high-quality food.
The menu is impressively large, offering something for everyone—from traditional favorites to unique dishes that make it easy to satisfy any craving. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. We decided to get some food to go as well, and it was packaged carefully and thoughtfully. Our meals and drinks were ready in no time, which made the whole process effortless and convenient.
The restaurant itself is quiet, cozy, and inviting, with a layout and atmosphere that would easily accommodate larger parties without feeling cramped. Its location just off the interstate makes it a perfect spot for a spontaneous stop, a family outing, or even a dependable go-to for regular visits.
What truly stands out, though, is the food. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and cooked with care. The quality and authenticity make it clear that this isn’t just another Mexican restaurant—it’s a place that takes pride in what they serve. The portions are generous, and the meals are satisfying without being overpriced.
Overall, Mi Jalisco is a hidden gem. Whether you’re dropping in unexpectedly or planning a meal with family or friends, it offers a wonderful dining experience, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Authentic, flavorful, and reasonably priced, it’s a restaurant we’ll definitely be returning to.

Excellent!
Needing a break from the Kings Dominion area, we stopped in to Mi Jalisco Mexican Restaurant for a late lunch. This restaurant did not disappoint. Great service, plenty of options for all of the family and finished off with the Fried Ice Cream.

Excellent place for a decent Mexican food in the middle of nowhere (or middle of Route 1). No big ads, away from gas stations or convenience stores etc, unassuming building outside, but true character inside. The service and food are top notch, with prices a few bucks over fast food chains. Since it’s a hidden gem, the place feels mostly empty that defies its quality and taste. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful service from Ismael & Alejandro , food was memorable but the drinks is where it’s at. The Micheladas, Blues Motorcycles, Sangria, and Margaritas are delicious. Don’t be shy about personalizing Ur order, I love onions as U can see.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat near our hotel after a fun day at King’s Dominion and Mi Jalisco came up as one of the few good options in the area. The location was easy to find and parking was available on the side of the shopping complex. The staff was friendly and gave us time to take in the very large menu. The food was very good and the portions were large. I was surprised how big the margaritas were, but definitely not complaining. This is definitely a location local families visit and I can see why. We would come back. Thanks!

This was the WORST Mexican food I have ever eaten. The Spanish rice tasted like it was from a microwavable pack and lacked flavor. The fajitas skillet was bland with no flavor. The steak was overcooked and tough. The service to order was slow, and we were never asked if we wanted refills on drinks. Too many flies around our food for us to enjoy our meal because we had to keep waving over our food to keep flies from landing. The nachos with these big pieces of lettuce made it hard to enjoy. The previous reviews are what lead us here, but I will save this place for someone else to experience.

The food is excellent, so was the service. My only problem with this place is the noise. There were 4 of us & we couldn’t chat with the loud noise. Screaming kids & loud drunks the whole time we were there. Small parking lot in front. There was a large lot behind, but no signs to show that.
