First time in this place…. And man on man the food, the customer service and just the atmosphere was a great vibe . It actually felt like I was in Puerto Rico when I was eating the food. Every bite you take is an explosion in your mouth. I left the place wanting a bed. I ordered Christmas in July and the shrimp mofongo and the taste of the food was out of this world. I defentifly recommend this place. I promise you, you will leave this restaurant satisfied.

Yesterday, we made a brief stop to grab a quick bite, but following a conversation with the owner of this notable establishment, we opted to sit down and savor the cuisine. The setting felt like stepping into our grandmother’s kitchen, with the mofongo boasting a crispy exterior and a soft, moist interior, paired with a side of beef broth that complemented it remarkably well. The fried offerings were delectable without being greasy. The crab rice was truly exceptional, presented in a crab shell for added drama. The culinary experience and customer service, provided by the staff and the owner, were outstanding. We felt at home, surrounded by exceptional Puerto Rican hospitality. As natives of Connecticut, we would willingly drive two and a half hours to dine there again.

The food is so good I talk to the cook about one of the dishes on menú bacalao, which is salt cod fish she really did it perfectly the owners are very cool people down-to-earth. Humble and yeah, the atmosphere is really nice. I recommend everyone too. Try this restaurant.

To be honest the overall taste of Cuban food is not really the type that I can enjoy the most, but still I want to give this restaurant 5 star for its amazing staff and great food quality! Green plantain and chicken (hearts?) is very special, worth a try! Skirt steak is classic flavor, and pork is full of meat savor. My favorite is the desert— tres leches! If you’re a milk lover, must must order!!!

+Nice atmosphere. Staff is friendly. Service was fast. Portions were HUGE and delicious. We couldn’t finish what we ordered and had to take the leftovers. We tried the tostones rellenos de pernil, ensalada de guineitos con mollejas, congri rice, maduros, empanada de pollo, arroz con gandules, chicharrones de pollo. Price is fair. Clean place.
– The morcilla is not puertorican morcilla which my husband asked before ordering. The chicharrones de pollo are not actually chicharrones, they are mostly breaded chicken.

This place is the real deal!! My 2nd time giving a 5 star review. This was 100% better than my first 5* review.
The food was AMAZING….Delicious, well seasoned, cooked perfectly; As was the service from Wendy, who was attentive, friendly and checked on us enough but gave us space to enjoy our food.
We started with Good-O Kola Champagne sodas & a delicious glass of parcha jugo aka Passionfruit juice. One sip of the jugo & I know I wanted a cup to go.
We started with empanada de carne, surrullos & was brought some complimentary toasted bread with some garlic butter.
Wanted 2 bowls of the daily special of Sancocho but unfortunately or is it fortunately, we had to choose something else. I’d ordered mofongo with masitas de cerdo (Mashed fried plantains with seasoned fried pork chunks) and a side of yuca con mojo. Since we had to choose something else instead of sancocho, my child chose rabo con gandules (oxtail with yellow rice & pigeon peas).
We wished we could have had room for dessert. So many more things to try. On my way out I had to tell the server And the owner how much we had enjoyed ourselves and how their food even impressed the chef in me

Pleasant staff, met one of the owners “Taino”. Besides being handsome, made us feel the Puerto Rican soul. Including sounds of Coqui. Good Puerto Rican food. The mofongo and alcapurrias were great. Highly recommended
