The sides were just as impressive: the greens and cabbage were perfectly seasoned, and the yams were so sweet and rich they could have been a dessert. We always judge a soul food spot by the greens, and these were top-notch!
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of outdoor seating and friendly staff. Pick-up orders are convenient, and don’t miss their house-made slushes—the strawberry and sweet tea mix is a must-try.
Not owned and ran by a Jamaican ((it could never be))
If you are looking for authentic JAMAICAN food this is not the place..
Very disappointed coming here

We ordered oxtails, rib tips, and jerk chicken with cabbage, Mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. Also a beef patty.
The chicken was so good. Not very spicy but definitely seasoned. Served on top of rice and peas. I recommend getting a side of jerk sauce to dip your food in.
First time having oxtails and they were very gelatinous and meaty. Very savory and was definitely on the soul food side of the menu even though they were served on top of rice and peas. Overall they were ok. Some tender some tough.
The rib tips were great. BBQ sauce they use is blended with jerk to offer a good balance of flavors.
Sides were rice & peas, mac & cheese, cabbage, and sweet potatoes. All were amazing. Best of the day was the cheesy mac and cheese.
Overall great place to try a great take on Jamaican and soul food mixed together. Next time I will try cooked to order items.
Couple items unavailable. And we got there around 1230p.
