Was visiting the area and found this place on Google maps to grab some early dinner. We had our dog with us and were happy to find a beautiful patio in the back with staff that welcomed our pup with open arms. Everything is home made, including the tortillas, and tasted like the food was made with love. What a gem! Bonus: they have their own free parking lot (big deal in the middle of LA).

Came here with the folks. Food portions were slightly small and some items slightly bland. But, overall, the entrees (and ESPECIALLY the extra delicious chips and salsa) were very nice. Hence, slightly “overpriced” in terms of portions. Nonetheless, the service (ours was a super kind and friendly woman) was outstanding (attentive and welcoming but not overbearing). The decor and atmosphere are worth the trip however: super charming, laid back, and cozy. Worth a trip.

Omg, found this gem with AMAZING quality food and service! It also had a cute patio with the perfect lighting. It seriously feels as though I am in a hacienda in Mexico! Good for private special events. The server Sasha is super pleasant and makes killer Sangrias They also sell margaritas, beer, and wine. And the desserts?! OMG, my palette was fully satisfied!! I was able to enjoy the Dodger Game World Series (5th game) while devouring TRADITIONAL Mexican food Must try if you’re in the area!….oh, you must try their red salsa! It is DELICIOUS!!!!!

We love this little place in East LA! We just discovered it by chance! The ambiance, on a weekend morning especially, is so nice and let’s a lot of light in with the huge glass wall! Food was great! And service is wonderful! And the great thing too is that they have their own parking!

It was a delicious Mexican restaurant. The natural drinks were water down and too sweet. But overall everything was great. The meat is excellent. Came back a second time and had the salmon, it was absolutely delicious, the green sauce was amazing, it comes with a tortilla filled with melted cheese. Taco El Ruso is a must! The staff is super friendly.

Tried this spot for the high reviews. The steak is good, the chicken was well overseasoned and did not taste fresh, the portion size is on the small side and we had been served on dishes that are cracked and chipped. The service is good and I applaud there ability to upset additional items.
The price is a little high for the food and I do not recommend going, you are better off at a taco stand.
Can soda is $4.00 and coffee will be charged a $2.00 refill fee per refill.

One of the best bakeries in the Nation! Their bread is made to perfection. Their concha, cuernos, libros, and bolillo de agua are great. They do fall short on their regular bolillo (inside texture is too porous). They have a great selection of Mexican breads. They do bake their bread daily and have fresh bread throughout the day. They offer to go food as well (variety mexican dishes). They also have fresh coffee, milk and other beverages. Their parking is limited, but there is also street parking available. The staff is friendly and eager to help.
