Our goto for breakfast tacos and a great breakfast buffet. Numerous scrambled egg offerings. Tasty sausage. Not a fan of the cheap over-cooked bacon. Pancakes, fruit, migas on offer. The green sauce is among the best in town and the refried beans (a little thin on last visit as was the red sauce) are very tasty. A great value too. Friendly and prompt service. Check out this unassuming, family-run “hole in the wall”, not so “hidden gem”. Updated 2/23/25. Had the Migas Rancheros today. I’ll let the pic do all the talking.

We found ” Mi Familia Coco Loco” on a Sunday morning, and there was plenty of room for our party of 9. Our waitress was very patient, welcoming, and accommodating. Mi Familia Coco Loco offers a buffet and items off the menu. We did not take up on the buffet but the food kept coming out fresh, the buffet was well stocked. Our plate were large and our food tasted great. Prices were good considering it’s College Station. I could easily see us coming back for breakfast or lunch.

I can’t believe we just discovered this restaurant after being in the area for so long! Just goes to show that even though you have local favorites, you must try new places.
This is very much an authentic “familia” restaurant. They have an extensive menu, from breakfast, to daily specials, to a buffet (which by the way looked delicious and well balanced), to order from the menu. Hands down one of the best over all salsas, fresh crispy chips, to over all Mexican plate, enchiladas, Chalupas, crispy Tacos, rice, and beans. This is like something from Grandma’s (abuelas) kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was extremely clean. HIGHLY recommend!

The customer service I received from Esmeralda was friendly and she made me feel very appreciated! Im not sure who the owner is yet, but I would love to know! I’ll be back and I’m hoping to personally compliment them for the quality and service! They make you feel like family here!

My favorite is the fajita chicken taco with guacamole and pico de gallo. The green sauce is hot and delicious and the red sauce is good too. I think it’s a good value also because it’s not as expensive as fast food and is much healthier.
