The very best paella I have ever had in my life! My fiancée and I really enjoyed everything here – the seafood soup is delightfully refreshing and delicious, the oxtail is tender with perfectly done wine sauce, and the paella with seafood is absolutely wonderful! Will visit this place sooner in the future, and I truly do regret that I didn’t discover this fantastic restaurant before I graduated from Princeton because it’s simply too good.

I had their veggie paella, papas bravas and flan. Everything was delicious and very large portions, perfect for sharing and very reasonably priced. Great service, but only 6 tables, seating a total of 20 people, so make reservations if possible.

This menu is updated as of July 5, 2025. I personally think paella are the best highlight of this restaurant. Anywhere you can pick a Spanish restaurant in the world, it probably feels and looks the same. But MI Espana, using the advantage of the abundance of the US, created a paella with so much seafood and meat. It certainly deserves a 5. The atmosphere is alright. it feels like seating are curb side feel. Tapas are below average, worse than the ones in Spain. The tomatoes, see the color? Used cheap tomatoes. They could have used high ended tomatoes. Meatballs, one would start to think who is better, IKEA meatballs or this one? The combine score should be lower than 4. However, the paella is like octane booster pushing up the grading to 4.3 to 4.5. It still deserves a MUST eat restaurant.

Came for the paella, stayed for the tapas! Tapas were filled with flavor and texture, with the loaded potatoes and shrimp being highlights. Paella was a little salty and overcooked by comparison, though still decently good. Service was slow on a Friday evening due to large number of customers, and there were bugs outside

The store is super small so there will be a long wait time without reservation at night time. The serving of paella is large but flavor is too salty. I feel another Spanish place at DC is better.

Popular Spanish restaurant in Princeton. The seafood paella is absolutely delicious! Since Paella takes time to cook, They can take order ahead of time. I called 35 minutes ahead of arrival, and can start eating very soon after siting down, amazing service!

We went to Mi Espana after missing Spain. Wow! Our expectations were low but the food was surprisingly authentic and delicious. Dare I say better than our last trip to Barcelona! If you’re on the fence just go. The only thing they can do better is serve sangria and cava.
