While the atmosphere is perfect for large get-togethers and ice breaker events, you can expect to have sticker shock when you receive your check. I’ve been multiple times and have never spent less than $40 for just me. The cheapest “fun” margaritas/adult beverages are going to run you $18-25 and any meal is at least another $20. I once shared a meal with another person and they charged us for extra tortillas when they only gave us 3 to begin with. I totally understand the need to charge for extras like sides of sour cream or queso, but for tortillas? I don’t know how many Mexican restaurants you’ve been to, but I have never been charged extra for requesting more tortillas EVER.
So, while I will again say the atmosphere is awesome for celebrations or large parties, the food is just okay and the funnest thing about it are the drinks. So if you don’t drink, there isn’t much to experience here. And if you have food allergies like me, about all you can be offered is tableside guacamole (currently $12.99, but it is a decent shareable portion size, so this is imo one of their best value items on the whole menu) and shredded chicken, which is probably why I’m not impressed by any of their meals because it’s the same as every other Mexican restaurant around, except you’ll pay a whole lot more for it. If you’ve got the money, you’ll enjoy this place. If you’re on a budget (and who isn’t in this economy??), I’d skip this one.

We travel quite a bit and love trying New Mexican spots, Mi Cozumel did not disappoint. Food & drinks were pricey but delicious and lots of options. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere/decor were amazing. We were there on a Saturday for late lunch so it wasn’t very crowded/loud.

WOW!!! Honestly, you could come here and have a great meal based on the experience alone! The interior decor is so over-the-top in the best way, and the drinks!!! My friend and I didn’t buy a drink, but we had a ton of fun watching all of the drinks come out because they were so ridiculously extravagant! HUGE menu and the food we ordered was delicious!! I LOVED my enchiladas. Crazy big servings, too! The service was fantastic as well, everyone was super friendly!

The restaurant was absolutely stunning! There were trees inside that were just gorgeous the drinks presentation was absolutely amazing and they all tasted great! The food was literally so good we ordered extra just to take some home. Highly recommend, had the best time for my birthday!

We got the tacos. Excellent. The atmosphere was amazing, my son couldn’t stop talking about how cool it was. The did a great job decorating and went all out for Halloween. Service was very friendly.

Fantastic Mexican food, the staff was so friendly, and the decor is amazing! I’ll definitely be going back! The food selections are much better than the average restaurant, the food was fresh, and it was hard to choose what to order. Definitely recommend!!

Brought my wife here for Valentine’s Day. It’s a nice place. My wife got the chimichangas and loved them. I got a fajita, I believe it was El Hefe?. It was just ok. For $26.99 it was small and no seasoning. My wife got some Sponge Bob drink. It was expensive, but she liked it. I ordered a Mexican Mule and got a Moscow Mule. It was good, but not what I ordered. It also didn’t need the candy straw, umbrella, and all the fruit. I didn’t exchange it because it wasn’t worth the hassle that it took us to get the first drinks. We had high expectations, but it fell short for me. Still a nice place, but expensive for what you get.

It’s okay. Everything is pretty overpriced and drinks are watered down. It’s more of a party atmosphere with the upbeat, fun music, which is nice if you’re into that. The food doesn’t taste very authentic or flavorful. They do give you plenty to eat though. It’s more commercial and drinks are for the looks/pictures. Service was great though and fast. For large parties, gratuity is added.
