Generous traditional seafood dishes are showcased at this informal, industrial-style restaurant.

I don’t quite understand the system here — you wait up to an hour for a table, yet reservations aren’t accepted. Interesting strategy.
Once we were finally seated, we scanned the menu only to find everything in Spanish — very “welcoming”. Communication with the server was also a challenge, so we basically had to show photos of what we wanted.
We ordered the famous seafood tower, which looks incredibly appetizing and delicious in the videos — unfortunately, the reality was very different. The raw shrimp was just awful: the texture, the taste, and especially the aftertaste. Truly disappointing. On the bright side, the grilled shrimp was probably the best I’ve ever had — or at least one of the best — so credit where it’s due.
Pricing is another issue. The seafood tower was about $40, while the grilled shrimp cost $38, which feels pretty insane considering the difference in quality.
Overall, if you’re curious and have plenty of time (and patience), you might give it a try — just don’t expect the hype to match the experience.

popular restaurant. recommend to make reservations. though it is possible for walk in on weekdays. the signature grilled prawn was ordered by every table. there were fresh raw oysters available (6 types). service staff are friendly and very helpful in making recommendations. portions of some dishes are big.

This meal was the highlight of our trip. We got lucky and there was very little wait for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The service was great and the food was delivered promptly. The food was sublime. Sooooo good. This is my second time (first was in their Coyoacan location) and ai highly recommend the the shrimp and cheese costra taco (maybe two tacos) and the coconut sundae. You will not regret it.The guacamole, tostada cachetona and pescado zarandeado were also delicious! Our group still talks about this dinner.

stroll around – come 12pm they’ll get thru the first 30 parties or so! then an hour wait for everyone after that.
comes w a great cuppa soup! plus we’re fans of raw seafood so aguachiles, oysters and the clams are a must. AH the CLAMS! sweet, crunchy, and vibrant – when we asked they were sold out then they received more!
the charcoal camarones are so good! they cook them at back and the ambiance is great, love to see the waiters sing along to the songs playing in the background it was a lively and great vibe!

First time here and it was so AMAZING! The seafood is so fresh, the flavors and seasoning were so delicious. We started with the tostada de ceviche verde, so many flavors. We tried the famous tuna tostada, so yummy. The grill shrimps were out of this world. Everything is great. Def recommend this place whoever is in Mexico City. Christian was our waiter and he was great.

This is a money making, Seafood Slinging, Gringo joint! BUT it is damn good, so it is worth the wait in line to get a spot to dine at this Roma Norte Marisqueria. This is an instragram worthy spot. All the food looks and tastes amazing. The hospitality is great and they make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Come hungry, everything on this menu is amazing.

I’ve eaten here 3 times while traveling in CDMX. Well worth the wait! Those oysters were some of the best and freshest ones I had. The sauce it comes with perfectly pairs with the oysters. I had to come back the next day and got 12. I recommend the tostada de atún and camarones. Also got the coconut ice cream which was delicious! Great and fast waiters too. The place is full of liveliness. Going to miss this place when I leave!

Highly recommend reservations- not easy to get into. Long lines and always busy. And it lives up to the hype! We opted for the outside tables instead of the indoor. We had a spectacular late lunch. Great cocktails and drinks. Every single fish dish was insanely fresh and good. The grilled shrimp are soooo good, you will keep ordering them – we did! Our second favorite was aguachate; fish in green sauce and cucumbers and sliced red onion strings. We could have drank that green sauce. We shared all the dishes, and worked well – we were able to try more dishes that way and still be satisfied. This is a seafood lovers paradise! Would go again and it’s on my re-play list for Mexico City! Thank you for great food and service – what a stellar experience!

Our favorite place in Mexico City. Get there early to put your name down, it is completely worth the wait. The staff is kind, helpful, and fun. All the food we’ve tried is amazing. I especially recommend the tuna tostada and the flan.

A seafood spot with a wide variety of dishes and really good flavors. The oysters were outstanding, and the shrimp “costras” were packed with flavor. However, the seafood tower — usually the star dish — didn’t quite surprise me this time. The highlight of the meal was definitely the coconut and marshmallow dessert, which was out of this world. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and full of good recommendations. The only downside is that they don’t take reservations, so you might have to wait up to an hour for a table. Also, if you’re not a fan of loud music, I’d suggest asking for a table outside since the volume inside can get quite high.
