Being from California, I didn’t know what to expect from Texas-Mex food and I was pleasantly surprised. While it cannot be compared to the Mexican food from Southern California, it is its own thing and it’s damn good! It was recommended to try the Mambo Taxi and it was fantastic. Of course we had to have the queso which was a hit as well. For my main I had the “Deluxe 57” and wow! Such different and great flavors. This is something I’m going to crave once I head home.
The atmosphere was really nice and the service was great. Next time I’m here, I will for sure be back.

Our waitress, Rosa, was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with, and her service reflected that. However, after speaking with the manager Alma, she did a great job correcting the situation. The food was amazing as always. I just wish we hadn’t been treated so poorly at the start of our visit.

I had a fantastic experience, the food was fresh and was served quickly but what truly made the visit special was our server Koryann. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly personable. From the moment we were seated she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. I’m a big water drinker so it was nice and refreshing to go somewhere where the server stayed on it with keeping the glass filled. Her warm attitude and friendliness elevated the whole dining experience. Highly recommend Mi Cocina, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Koryann as your server.

The Pasilla Poblano con Hongos is sooo good! It came on a sizzling platter along with beans and tortillas. We chose the corn tortillas and they were so fresh and tasty. It was filling but not “heavy” and the flavors were perfect. I would order this every time!

We sat on the patio on Saturday morning 2/28 and had a wonderful experience. Food was fresh and the service was excellent. We were waited on by Brian and he took care of us like we were family. Gave us some laughs and kept the energy up. Can’t go wrong with the brisket tacos and a mambo taxi. We love mi Cocina.

The family went on vacation to Texas three weeks ago and made a new friend who invited us to eat at Mi Cocina. This place is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing… and don’t even get me started on the dessert, it was just as incredible. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. Mi Cocina is definitely on my must visit list for the next time. Also, a special shoutout to the manager… she’s truly amazing and a gem herself!

I came here to celebrate my 21st birthday on 02/16, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We were seated quickly, and about six minutes later a table busser brought us chips and salsa. However, after that we waited around 25 minutes with no drinks, no food order taken, and no greeting from any server.
During this time, nearly every server in the restaurant walked past our table, and we even noticed another table in the same section receiving service before us. The gentleman at the bar was very kind and did eventually take our order and bring our drinks, but he was clearly busy, and it showed that our table had been overlooked.
It was frustrating to spend my birthday sitting without service when basic steps like greeting the table, taking drink orders, and checking in should happen within the first few minutes. I truly hope the service improves so future guests can have a better experience.

This place is very nice and cozy. Food was delicious . Enchiladas and taco plate. Switched the refried beans for borracho beans. Delicious. The chicken enchilada was the best

Visited a Mexican restaurant last night and had a great experience. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. We tried the Chicken Quesadillas and the Sunset Style Fajita Tacos – both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, a satisfying meal with great vibes. Would definitely recommend!

I had lunch today around lunchtime and I had the absolute pleasure of running into Koryann as my server. I asked what she recommended since I hadn’t been in quite awhile. My usual is typically chicken enchiladas- the basics. She recommended the ‘sunset enchiladas’. Quite a recommendation. Not only was the service superior, but I feel like I left making a total girlfriend. 10/10 experience. If you find yourself attending, I recommend koryann and whatever she recommends. Also!! The mambo taxi for an after work wind down. Overall excellent atmosphere, as well as, outstanding service. Totally recommend experiencing whatever I experienced today. Will be returning soon just for the friendliness I experienced today- in today’s day and age in customer service, I recommend koryann and her recommendations, they seem to have not steered me wrongly.
