My friends, family, and I recently dined at this restaurant, where we enjoyed a variety of dishes including sunset fajitas, Mama’s tacos, street tacos, quesadillas, and soft chicken tacos for the children, among other selections. Despite being a large group, our wait time was approximately 20 minutes, which was quite reasonable given the excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. While the prices here are somewhat higher compared to other Mi Cocina locations in Dallas, the cost is understandable considering the restaurant’s prime location. Our server was exceptionally friendly and demonstrated great patience with the children’s orders. We certainly plan to return and highly recommend this establishment to everyone.

Fermin made our visit the best ever! We came here as first timers and he went over the menu with us and explained in detail of what each plate consist of. He even brought us different samplers of the enchiladas sauce to help us with our decision. The food we had was so delicious! Me and my son had the poblano chicken enchiladas and my husband had Tacos Mi Tierra and it was so delicious as he described and recommended. As we were getting ready to leave, he offered us a dessert and my son was so happy! He not only made us feel welcomed but made us feel like family! What an amazing place! Fajitas were incredible! Probably the best Mexican food in the area! Love their authentic ambience, very cozy atmosphere, nice interior! It gets busy sometimes, but i prefer visiting when it’s not too crowded! Service is fast and nice! Staff is really friendly and welcoming! Tacos are great! Nachos as well! Top place to go! And you get free chips and salsa of course

We were there 10 mins before they were to open. It was pouring rain and the doors opening early so several couples could escape the rain. So kind. The food and service are excellent. My hurevous rancheros was the best ive had. The over easy eggs were layered with salsa and peppers and the potatoes had two creamy spicey sauces. Excellente.

This place is a great place to have mexican food for vegetarians. We had the Tacos Veganos and Pico De Gallo Fajitas, the vegetables were so nicely marinated and cooked. Best food. The spicy frozen jalapeno margarita was one of the best drinks i have had. The Skinny Frozen Margarita was good too. The staff really took good care of us. What a lovely experience!

We ordered 2 items (EL Ray combo and Chicken/Beef fajitas) to share and it could have easily fed one more person.
Our food came quickly, was flavorful and the platter is a great pick for variety. The fajita plate however was not as generous as other Tex Mex places in the area but flavorful none the less.
I reccomend a visit, and maybe call ahead to check for seating as it was packed for lunch!

I want to give a special shout-out to Ana, our server, for her kind, attentive, and fast service. She was always smiling and made our experience so much better.
Also the hostess Nay for welcoming us so warmly and making sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. Her professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out.

The restaurant has a nice setup with a warm and welcoming vibe. It was pretty busy given that it was a Saturday afternoon, but everything seemed well managed. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait too long for anything. The food was decent for the price. I was hoping for a little more in terms of flavor or uniqueness, but it wasn’t bad at all. It just didn’t completely meet my expectations. That said, I still enjoyed the visit and appreciated the atmosphere. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, and I’d definitely consider coming back to try a few other menu items.

The food was great! Our only qualm was the service – took quite a bit of time. *However*, we went at 7:30pm on a Saturday. I got the Rico Salad, chopped and tossed. It was very good, my friends also were very surprised how much they liked it. My friends got Luann’s, Tacos Mi Tierra, and the Sunset Enchiladas. They liked their food. My friend who got the Sunset Enchiladas has been before and mentioned he liked the other food better. The space was VERY cool. Trendy and chic. Definitely a place you can dress up in a cute new outfit and go for a gal’s dinner or a date night. Absolutely the spot for that.
