A later Monday lunch got me immediately seated as the lunch rush was over.
No sooner than I started my first chips and salsa (along with their special white sauce) and my order was out. Super quick service for my lunch special order.
Wait staff was attentive and food delicious, as normal. Que Rico!

Very good food and nice place. Although we were disappointed about the “spicy” food. The server said those that are described spicy in the menu would make you sweat and cry, which my husband likes a lot (to sweat and cry when eating spicy food). But when the “spicy” food arrived, it wasn’t that spicy. I myself (who could only consume mild spicy food) didn’t even have a hard time eating.

I love Mexican food and eat at restaurants featuring their food all the time. This is one of the best I’ve ever eaten at. I ordered the lunch combo with a shredded chicken enchilada, shredded beef quesadilla with the rice and beans as my sides. I have to say their shredded beef quesadilla is the best I’ve ever had. The shredded chicken enchilada wasn’t far behind. The rice and beans were maybe a bit above average. Their chips and salsa were definitely above average. The chips were nice and crunchy and the salsa has visible veggies and cilantro. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

It was very busy. Took forever to get our food. The food was decent. I got a hard taco. Had lots of meat but hardly any cheese. The nachos Supreme was the same. It was loaded but had hardly any cheese on it.

Clean, comfortable space and fresh, good food! The rice wasn’t sitting out for a long time and the salsa was obviously fresh as well. It was so good! The waitstaff were attentive but not overbearing, which I appreciate.

Just visited Mi Cerrito again. We used to go to the Crestline restaurant but will continue to visit the Galion one instead. The food is always hot, and delicious. No complaints here. Today we had the steak fajitas and Yucatan Special. I always get it with a side of Diablo sauce. Augusto is hands down the best waiter to have there.

Seafood chimichanga is my favorite! Service was good. We had a party of 11 and due to the language barrier, I think more than one server would have helped. The man done fine, he was just frazzled at times.

Good chips, salsa & signature white dip. We got a (huge) serving of queso & chorizo for the table to share. Everyone was happy with their meals. The sauces tasted homemade. Most authentic tasting Mexican food I’ve ever had in the Midwest. Large menu with lots of options.
Located on State Route 61/309 on the south side of Galion, next to the bowling alley.
